  1. This is true. The same person maintains both websites...but tends to put more time in on the Carolina one:undecided . So, if you order from Tristate and they do not have the scent and carolina does.....Joe will have it sent up for ya:wink2:
  2. I have never ordered online from Tristate...I always just call Joe to place my order. I got Sage and Citrus from them back in January. I sure hope it hasnt been discontinued...it is a good seller for me.
  3. I DO melt my shea. I tried it a couple times by just warming it and it was grainy. Melting it completly, until it is clear, seems to cure that. I take my melted butters out of the microwave, transfer them to my steel mixer bowl ...add my other oils...then pop it into the freezer for a bit. I check it periodically...as it sets up...I scrape the sides down. Once it iis almost back to solid...I scrape the bowl again then put it in the mixer and let it whip on low for a few min then turn it to high until I get the volume I want.
  4. www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com They have some 2oz in their Surplus section.
  5. TARTS! I tried to sell the clamshells. My wholesale accounts would not even look at them! They said they looked cheap.
  6. Mystical...lets not forget TriState...their Coconut is awesome!
  7. The one I hate is: I am not a candle maker, so I dont know how this oil throws! IMO if you are not a candle maker then you shouldnt be in the candle supply business!
  8. My recipe is in the Recipe Section...It is under "Kimberly's Whipped Shea Recipe" I market mine as Body Mousse...easy as pie!
  9. Oh I forgot to add...I tried this recipe with Shea and Kokum....WAAAAY too greasy! I would not reccomend Kokum...but hey thats just me.
  10. There isnt a court in the land that would convict you!
  11. Girl who you tryin to kid...you live in NY!...lol It aint humid here.LMAO I make bath bombs and dont have any trouble what so ever in the summer. AIR CONDITIONING is the key. Once the bombs harden you wont have any problems.
  12. I get mine from www.containerandpackaging.com
  13. Not Bunny...but the FCS one is not a planer. It will not smooth out the tops of the bars. It just bevels them perfectly!
  14. Other than what I get from co ops that are not from there...I use OBN pretty much exclusivly. Great prices and awesome shipping!
  15. I use that size....we use Print Shop. Or go to onlinelabels.com...they have templates for that size.
  16. I am trying to get my favorite supplier to sign up. I am close...they are seriously thinking about it. Tristate Candle:D
  17. I like it! However, it is hard to tell whether it is a s or a z in Sensationz. I like it becaise it is simple...but bold. Like kaybee said ..I like color...but this logo will be so versitile. It will look good in color...or just b&w. Nice Job!
  18. However Bunny, This is a label. The logo is the butterfly. This is her label for a product. So, therefore, ALL information is needed. I cant tell you how many people have contacted me from my phone # or email addy on my products that they have received as a gift or bought in a Fundraiser. Got to get the repeat customers!
  19. I totally disagree here. A label is ALL about you...your product, and your website. Terri, the second logo is awesome. And you know me, I dont like anything.
  20. OH CRAP! I am sorry. Mine is a GE Brand...it came with the whisk, beaters and hooks. Jeff bought me the Sunbeam for my b-day last yr. I opened it the night Slow-burn got here and she told me I needed the whisk attachment so we took it back to Walmart and was going to get the 200.00 KA until we ran across the GE Mixer. LOVE IT!
  21. Not even close. Hemp butter is really soft.
  22. 1oz of FO is what I add. and I usually add it while it is whipping
  23. I dont have a KitchenAId brand...but I wanted to offer another option. I didnt like the thought of throwning down a couple hundred bucks for a mixer....so I went to Wal Mart and got the Sunbeam brand that has the same attachments. It was only $80! Yes this mixer does leave some ingredients on the side....but so does a KA. You have to scrape the bowl down. Whichever one you pick, you will not be sorry. Do not know how I would make my butters without it now.
  24. DOesnt have water in it ...so no need for a preservative.
