  1. I'm not much into them either but lavender is very popular. I also like chocolate orchid from Nature's Gardens. There are a couple more that I like but I can't think of them right off the top of my head.

@Belinda, you mentioned Orange Chiffon Cake which made me remember I have that FO from Mill Creek that I haven't even used yet as well as Key Lime Pie from there.  Those would both be good springtime bakery scents.  I should make those this spring.

As soon as Christmas is over, I am ready to make some non-spicy candles.  So far I've made Love Spell, Lemon Verbena, and Seaside. Seaside made the house smell so nice yesterday.

I've not completely done with spice scents though; I made some Cinnamon Buns because customers still want the spicy ones now.

Where do you get seaside? I'm sure I'll have some wanting ocean type scents soon. I love the spicy ones all year myself although I do enjoy a fruity smell in the spring and summer too. Orange chiffon cake is yummy!

  3. I love blueberry cobbler from LS and also the blueberry scents from ICS. Like Gail said, lemon pound cake is great. I use the one from Peak but get it at Keystone now. Aztec also has a good lemon cookie. ICS has Boo berry, Blueberry meringue torte and some fruity cereal scents that are great like fruit loops which also makes a good lemon cake scent. There are so many great fruity/bakery scents!  Banana nut bread is my favorite of any fruity bakery scent even though it has a little spice/bread scent to it. Banana cream pie from FB is good, so is blackberry jam butter cookies from ICS and FB and Daystar smells very yummy! Blueberry cheesecake from CS and strawberry shortcake from Keystone (Peaks) are great also. Coconut cream pie from FB is a good summer type bakery scent as well as Summer Scoop from Flaming. I also love orange chiffon cake from Fb or ICS.  Wildberry Mousse from ICS is a good one too.

I hope I haven't enabled you in ANY way! 😁

I have used these....I used watercolor paints and it worked well.  I remember stamping them in the past...but the ink ran a bit after applying the fragrance oil.

You may try stamping after adding the oil?  I recently ordered the football helmet blanks and painted them in team colors. Then I printed the team logo on a blank label, cut the shape of the logo and stuck it on the helmet blank.   It was pretty cool!  I did this for various teams for family members.

How do you get the oil to soak up? Is there a particular recipe that's used? I'm interested in learning how to make these since the beaded fresheners sell really well for me. Thank you!

    Thanks so muc🤗

Not sure if you saw my post about these two oils but the one from CS has more of a fruit scent to me. The one from Flaming has more citrus to it. The Candlemakers Store has several odor eliminator scents but I've never used any of them. Maybe they have one like the one from CS. I hope this helps.

Hi @Belinda Thank you for your suggestions!  You are always so helpful with suggestions and typically when you suggest something I love it!  I have a decent selection of her oils but the only ones from your list that I have are:

    blackberry jam butter cookie

    sugar cookie dough

    bear claws

    booberry

I do have a few in my cart that you listed.  They are:

    caramel nut cluster

    apple fritter

    lemon meringue

Does the lemon meringue smell like fruit loops or does it actually smell like a pie?  Is the caramel nut cluster mostly caramel or can you also smell a peanut smell as well?  Then you have my attention with the white cake... Does it have a cherry smell to it or does it mostly smell like a birthday cake?  Turtle Brownies....  That just reminded me!!!  I still want to do our swap with the caramel pretzel bar lol 😂🙌🏼

The lemon meringue smells more like lemon pie to me, not just fruity like fruit loops only I do think fruit loops would make a good lemon pound cake.

I think I can smell caramel in the caramel nut cluster. I'd have to go sniff it but I'm sure I smell caramel.

Yes, we do still need to do our swap! The turtle brownies does remind me of caramel pretzel bar!

Please I need to know if there's a dupe out there any where.  I am so bummed they discontinued this.  I've tried cinnamon and juniper but cant quite get it.  Any recommendations for blending or is there another vendor out here with it.

    Please help Kim

Also the candle makers store has some smoke and odor eliminators. I've not tried any of those though but maybe one of them smells like the one from CS.

I smelled the one from Flaming and the one from CS and they don't smell the same but both smell equally good to my nose. The one from Flaming has more citrus in it.

    I hope this helps.

Belinda....I think that may be a blend of her own.  I loved it too.
she has a website called Dairy-Aire Crafts and Gifts   http://www.dairy-airecrafts.com/
It  appears to be temporarily shut down due to a death in the family

But maybe you can get in touch via her website when its up and running.
Good luck and pls post any info you may get regarding that fabulous scent!

Thank you Barbara! I might try to message her again. I did message her right after the swap asking if she would mind telling me which scent it was but she didn't respond after reading it so I'm guessing she either forgot to answer or didn't want to give out her secret and I certainly understand that. I sure wish I knew what it was though! It's so wonderful!

  11. If you did our swap in 2017 and got the Darth Vader (soap I think) product, do you happen to know what scent that was done in? I think it was from Countrygal. I haven't seen her on here in awhile and would love to know what scent that was since most of my customers here love the masculine scents and I thought that one was really nice myself.

Does anyone remember or recognize the scent if you still have your soap? Thanks for your help!

  12. I'm not much for manly fragrances even though Black Ice has been a good seller for me, but I do love Barbershop 1920"s from RE. It smells so good to my nose. I'm going to try Creed from JS soon too. Creed cologne smells really good so I'm hoping the oil from JS smells good.

Has anyone tried the Molasses? I don’t want to mess with another supplier but I’m looking for a good Molasses...

I have it but have never put it in wax. It smells good and strong to my nose OOB though if that's any help. I don't have another similar FO to compare it to.

I think Aztecs vanilla latte is spot on.  I use it as the base then blend chocolate, or pumpkin spice, etc, to make  coffee latte  scents.,

I never thought to blend that one but that's a great idea! I'll defiantly have to try that.

@Belinda, how about "Sunset Trails" for yours? I bet that would be popular in your area!

Or "Mulled Berry Cider" if it's more fruity than earthy.

I've never smelled that one but I have been tempted to order it several times!

    I love it! I don't think you'd be disappointed.

I really like those names too! Thank you!

Which above names?  I changed one of my spicy ones to Welcome Home because I didn't like the name.  I'm thinking about changing Celtic Moonspice because what in the world does spice have to do with a Celtic Moon? But it does sound kind of designer or something.

I had a little Holiday Spices from Bert (heaven Scent) probably 10 years old.  I blended it with a spice fragrance and named it Home for Christmas because Holiday Spices was kind of generic to me.

I was talking about the name suggestions that SarahS had given to change woolen blanket. I thought they were good ideas. I'm not good with that sort of thing.

I like the name Woolen Blanket too. Also like Flannel Sheets although I haven't bought either yet.

I need to rename Apple Harvest and Amish Harvest because the harvest  season is so brief. :)

I agree about renaming the Harvest ones. I want to rename Autumn Leaves from CW because it just smells so good and it has a fruity, cinnamon, Patchouli scent to it that I think could pass for a Christmas scent or Winter one. I might use one of the above scent names for it, just not sure which one would fit.
