Thank you! When you're ready, let us know. IMO it was a much easier and faster craft to perfect than candlemaking was.

Thank you!  I'll defiantly be here asking for your help. I want to learn from the best!

    Melts

    wax used: 4625, 4786, KY 133 (Problend 450), 4625/4630

    fragrance load (%): 10%

    average cure time: 1 week

    Wax additives: none

    Cold throw: excellent

    Hot Throw: excellent

    Purchased: 2017

The most realistic and strongest I have found.  Blindfolded customers would think you're holding the box up to their nose rather than a product.

What other ones have you tried? I don't think I've used the one from ICS yet.

After reading all these great reviews on Cajun Creme Brulee I decided to go ahead and another supplier on my list, and.... they are out of stock. That's 0 for 2 this week - tried to order Sweet Tooth from RE as there was also a post where it was highly recommend, and it too was out of stock. 😞

Hopefully it'll be back in stock soon. Their cream brûlée is to die for, when it's not going bad. I did have a bottle go bad on me and it smelled like stinky feet or something sour when it was melting. It only happened with one bottle I had and one that Daisey Mae sent me. Also, I think JS has sweet tooth too.

Thanks for all the recommendations on creme brûlée! I have JS and Aztec of it right now and definitely prefer JS. Have you tried the js creme brûlée?

I'm not sure if I've tried hers or not. I've tried so many and thought most were lite but then I tried Cajun's and also Mike's cream brûlée from Starville and it was wonderful too but I think they went out of business. I've used Aztec's lately because I had Cajun's go sour on me, but it's wonderful when it's fresh.

You're not alone Belinda.  I have Pumpkin Pancake from Candlewic and I also thought it smelled really similar to the PPW I have used from different suppliers.

I'm so glad to know it wasn't my imagination or there was something wrong with my nose LOL! I remember thinking that Pumpkin Pancakes was CW's version of PPW's when I first smelled it because it smelled so much like the PPW's that I had.

I have sent some melts to 8 coworkers in many different scents, one being PPW and one pumpkin pancakes.  What can I say, I like pumpkin oils 🤷‍♀️

I just asked them (without them knowing why I asked).  They ALL say PPW and pumpkin pancakes are totally different.  PPW has a more sharp, almost nutty note whereas pumpkin pancakes is a warmer, more spiced/cinnamon type note.

I'm going to have to pour those separately and test LOL! I thought they smelled more the same. I think I was suffering from candle nose at the time though. Now I'm wanting to try the Pumpkin Pancakes again! Your description sounds more like a scent I would like over PPW, which I'm not as crazy about as a lot of people.

I use pumpkin pecan waffles.   Wouldn't that be too close to your pumpkin pancakes.

Unless it throws so much better.

Ok I'll get a small bottle.

Have you tried any good birthday cakes or marshmallows? I have creme brûlée from RE I hope it’s as good as the ones you mentioned.

Peaks, now sold at Keystone, always had a great birthday cake. RE, JS and FB all have great bday cakes too.

RE has a wonderful toasted marshmallow. Lone Star has one called Marshmallow madness that smells so good and it's different than any of the others. For cream brûlée I love the one from Cajun but if it's not fresh it gives off a sour note. It's so rich and good though when it's a fresh bottle of FO. I've never had another FO go sour like that one but it will. I'm not sure if I got a bad bottle or what but Daisy mae sent me hers because she detected a sour note and sure enough it was and then mine went sour. Peaks has a good cream brûlée too and so does Aztec.

    For other favorite bakery oils-

    Lemon Pound Cake-Peak

Buttercream Sugar Cookie-JS or ICS- frosted sugar cookie

    Absolutely Fabulous Cake-JS

    Nutmeg Ginger-Fillmore

    Cinnamon Crunch Cake-JS

    Strawberry Shortcake-CS

    Apple Dumpling-NG

    Caramel Pretzel Bars=RE

    Pumpkin Pie-CS

    Pumpkin Vanilla Marshmallow-FB or Aztec

    Pumpkin Pie Spice-RE

    Pumpkin Bread-RE

    Cardamon Rum Spice Cake-JS

    Cake-CS

    Banana Nut Bread-CS

  9. I"ve been making these for over 5 years and have made tons of them so I feel like I'm somewhat experienced, maybe not as experienced as you Margie, but I have made hundreds of them. I've bought beads from several suppliers over the years and then finally settled on Buy it Ship it as my main supplier because they were close to me, had great beads and great prices. I bought many beads from them and never had a problem. I had my technique down and my fresheners always came out great. The owner posted in her group that they were changing beads to Prime Beads. I ordered my usual order and had nothing but problems with them. I placed two more orders after that, weeks apart and both were horrible. I couldn't get them to cook right no matter what I did. Maybe I didn't have my temperature low enough, I don't know, but I had my methods down to a science with their other beads and never had a problem. Anyway, the last box I got from them was such a pain to work with that I just threw them out because I didn't want them to get mixed up with the good beads that I had found at Plastic Pellets 4 Fun. These are the same beads that Buy It Ship It used to sell or at least they act exactly the same. I haven't had any issues with these beads so I will stick with Plastic Pellets 4 Fun. They are working for me, they're reasonably priced and great customer service. I always had great customer service from Buy It ship it but their beads went to pot for me. As far as letting the owner know I was having problems, I did ask a question about it in the group and was told to get a heat gun. I purchased a heat gun but I knew if I ever found the great beads they used to have that I wouldn't need it. I tried it on a couple of fresheners but felt this was a waste of my time since I never had to use one with their old beads. As long as I'm getting what I consider to be the better beads from other places that's what I'll stick with. I'm not the only person that had trouble with their prime beads. I'm glad you're having good results with them.

I want to make sure that if I make them ahead of time for craft shows this spring and summer that the scents stay good.  I would be making several of the same scent at a time.

I don't think there'd be a problem at all making them this early.

    I didn't, I don't know her or have any contact info. :)

She said the minimum is $50 and after you have everything in your cart you hit recalculate. She said it should be working. I hope this helps!
