Hello. I noticed this post and I'm wondering what type of plastic the wax melt clamshells are made of? Anybody know or should I contact the company and ask? They don't always state in the product description what type of plastic they are. Since they are so popular for scented wax then you would think they are made of safe plastic or the type of plastic that doesn't suck the scent out of the product.
Speaking of PVC, and the example above with the body spray, is that why nobody uses these clear plastic boxes for their scented products? These boxes are cute and would display product perfectly. https://www.bathessential.com/proddetail.php?prod=ClearBox-4
I'm looking for box type packaging, preferably clear, for my loose wax tart shapes. Thanks for any advice on this.
It looks as though they are PVC. I'm guessing that's not a good plastic but not sure. I've stayed away from polyethylene and make sure they're polypropylene. Maybe PVC is polyethylene.

I couldn't get this code to work for me 😩
Oh no! I haven't tried it yet but plan to. Did you message Stacy and let her know? If not, I'll message her on FB and let her know.

Yes! I hate the cold weather. Im only happy during the week of spring and the two weeks of Fall we get up here.
Awww, I'm so envious of people that get to live where it's cold. I absolutely LOVE it! Of course, I've never been in bitter cold or snowy weather much so I might change my tune if I had to deal with snow and ice for weeks on end. LOL!

You're quite a ways from me then. I live in Cleveland which is about 50-60 miles north of Houston.
Are y'all having cold weather there? We're finally getting some here but in East Texas we don't have near the cold weather that I would love to have LOL!

I totally agree with you! I got some BNB from RE and it just wasn’t good at all to me! Might just be me though. Please let me know if ya find a good one. I’m gonna try and look at ICS. She usually has really good bakery scents. I’ll let you know too.
Agreed!

Of those 3 do you like 1 better?
Not really. To me they are so similar that I wouldn't hesitate to order any of them.

I use Both of this as well, I am looking for a nice clean strong scent
I've used NG's Country Clothesline and Clean Cotton and they're both very strong in aroma beads.

Welcome @BettyCrikey! We're happy to have you with us!
Where in Texas do you live? I'm a Texas girl too!

I love the one from CS, Cajun's and also Banana Walnut Cake from RE. To me, they have the nutty scent that I look for and not just banana.

Hi Sam! Welcome to the forum! We're happy to have you. You'll learn so much from the members here. Everyone is so kind and helpful. You'll love being here!
I've always wanted to travel to England. Maybe one day I'll get over my fear of flying and do that!

I use Monkey Farts and Butt Naked and they're pretty strong to my nose. Not as strong as a floral or clean scent would be though.
-
I got an email from Stacy as I'm sure a lot of you did too and she's having a sale January 16-23rd. Use code 10 at checkout.

Did you ever order from them? If so, how did they work out?
I think I did order some of their beads once and it seemed from my post above that they were doing the same thing as Aroma Beads online. I've been ordering mine from plasticpellets4fun. Get the premium beads. They're great and free shipping and very affordable. I haven't had any issues.

What do you use from her? Her vanilla scents (the ones I've tried) are so good!

I sent Stacy a message on Facebook and she said she's having trouble with her PayPal account right now and can't accept or send payments and her account is restricted and under review.
She says she hasn't seen any recent messages so maybe message her again? I'm just throwing that out there. I did tell her that some on here had sent messages via Facebook and text. She replied to me right away but maybe because I know her personally? or maybe the messages are going to a different place? I know I've missed messages before and didn't see them for months. Just trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but I know it's frustrating when you need to get ahold of someone and can't. But maybe since she knows there are people trying to get ahold of her she'll check.
She said she's open for business, running a little slower than usual but open and doesn't plan on going anywhere when I asked if she was planning to stay in business.
She does have some wonderful oils so I defiantly hope she's around for a long time!

I'm friends with Stacy so I'll shoot her a message and see if I get a response. I don't know if she will respond but it's worth a shot.

Thank you for responding. I think I'll try the peppermint meringue. I have a feeling I might just have to figure out my own blend.
Have you tried RE's toasted marshmallow? It's so yummy and would probably be a good blender. Not much of a toasted note to it but a very rich vanilla.
-
I have peppermint meringue and love it from what I can remember (haven't poured it in a long time) but I don't know what what the one from B&BW"s smells like.
I do have her peppermint bark too and it does have strong chocolate notes so maybe they sent the wrong one.

Santa brought me a silhouette for Christmas! I don't know when I'll have time to learn to use it though, hopefully this summer. I'm excited to learn all the neat things that can be done with one of these machines. I hope this one is user friendly because I am NOT tech savvy at all! LOL!

I wish she had a sale like FB does. They're having a 20% off of everything sale. JS always has sales on selected oils.
-
I've had some that lasted for years and some that started to have a slight plastic smell to them. I never could figure out if it was the wax used or the oil. Most last quite a while though.

I think she has her number on her website and says she takes text messages but I know several on here have had a hard time getting her to return messages. I'll message her and let you know what she says.
