I made a batch of CP soap and it was doing freat, but when I put in my fragrance (sweet pea) it seized or whatever its called. Turned to hard mashed potatoes instantly. It went through all the processes but the darn scent seeped out all over. Now I need help on how to rebatch it or is it a lost cause? I have already grated it and the scent oil have seemed to settle back in it now. But it is very sticky. Any ideas what I can do for it?

try double wicking your jar with 2 - 51z or 2- 44z wicks and see how they work. I don't do them often but I have 1 customer who I have done that for and she hasn't had a problem so far. Just remember to keep them trimmed up.

As for the tins I haven't done them so I am not able to say about them. HTH.

I had the same problem yesterday. I had a nice looking soap and when I added my scent it went the same way.Bam Thick mashed potatoes. Now I have scent oil on top of my soap. What can I do now. Is it ruined?

Walmart has the aloe vera gel. If you need it fast and so do alot of pharmacys. It is used for sunburns. I dont know about whether glycerine is drying. Have to wait for someone more experienced to jump in.

OOPs its a little big sorry. Have been having problems with resizing pics.

Here is the pic of my gm soap. I left it unscented but played with a brown oxide swirl. The mold was a pringles can. It has turned out well. Except I noticed it has air bubbles in it and around it. I also used a veg. spray on the can. What will cause that so I don"t do it again.

Is it because it was too warm or I over sb it possibly. Any help there would be appreciated. Is frozen gm when added to lye supposed to turn a thick caramel color?

They have great fragrance but you can't get store front pick-up. It has to be shipped. At least that is what he told me a year ago. I dont want to pay shipping from a store that is 45 min away. If I can save on shipping I can buy more.:D
