  1. And this should help to sum things up for now but there are tons of places online. These are just a few I have found and some that are mentioned in this post. https://theprintingdaddy.com/ https://www.nashvillewraps.com/ https://www.papermart.com/ https://www.bagsandbowsonline.com/retail-packaging/home http://www.bagsandbows.com/boxes http://www.swalter.com/ https://www.usbox.com/index.html
  2. Oh yes, they have loads of boxes and very nice. https://theprintingdaddy.com/candle-boxes
  3. Those jar candles will make great gifts. After looking at the Voluspa site again, I agree, most of their prices seem reasonable. For some reason I had in mind they were very expensive, must have been thinking of someone else. Voluspa uses beautiful containers.
  4. Beautiful, love it, love how the glass glows. Did you double wick it? What scent is it? Are you going to sell candles in them? I have some similar ones in clear, blue and black that I got at Candles and Supplies last year. Would love to sell candles in that type of jar but would have to charge Voluspa prices to make it worth while. LOL. One idea is to try selling them as "Special" or "Limited" editions with a higher price tag and see if people will buy. Don't know, can't speak from experience.
  5. In case no one has noticed, I love to bookmark links. Another one of my (harmless) addictions. LOL
  6. OMG, I came across this post again and that crystal & rubbish candle is still hiliarious! LOL! Suppose it doesn't take much to entertain me. Ha, ha.
  7. Way to go @Candybee, nice to hear it's a money maker for you. Your display and products look very nice and professional. I particularly like your soap bar labels. I so want to sell my handmade goods one day, can't wait, seems like fun. Merry Christmas to you and your family! 🌲 🌠
  8. Webstaurant Store sells several glassine bags, they also have good information on their site regarding different plastics and specs. https://www.webstaurantstore.com/search/glassine-bags.html PP #5 Polypropylene plastic is suppose to be safe for waxy products and not diminish the scent throw or break down due to fragrance oils.
  9. That comment brings up a great point. Just off the top of my head, I remember people ask me if I'm going to be selling on Amazon/handmade, Etsy or my own website. So I agree, Etsy and Amazon are definitely on people's minds for shopping, especially for handmade.
  10. Hello. White frosted jars w/lids - some lids are sold separatete http://www.candlesandsupplies.net/17-oz.-Oversize-Tumbler-w-Hammered-Copper-Lid-per-case-24_2 http://www.candlesandsupplies.net/10-oz.-White-Tumbler-wood-lid-per-dozen?sc=7&category=1828 these are painted white, not frosted, I have some and they are nice http://calcandlesupply.com/10-oz-cali-jar-w-lid/ http://calcandlesupply.com/frosted-tumbler-7-oz/ https://www.candlemakingsupplies.net/glass--boxes--jars--lids/glass-containers---jars/cate_104/p___P0798785.html I have some of these, they are nice https://www.candlemakingsupplies.net/glass--boxes--jars--lids/glass-containers---jars/cate_104/p___P0798567.html FYI, I know there was another post not too long ago discussing this same topic and had lots of good info and links. You should do a search on here to find it.
  11. Holy crap! Looks like a mini garbage dump on top of that candle. A bit much, don't cha think? Not to mention the fire hazard. LOL 🔥
  12. That's terrific, congrats on your increased sales. Your hard work is paying off.
  13. Well, that's a good problem to have. You need an assistant too. LOL. As do I, LOL.
  14. They have free stuff and options and also things you can purchase.
  15. For you or anyone that's interested. Here's some more marketing related stuff for logos, graphics, video stories, web pages and etc. Canva has some free stuff https://www.canva.com/ Adobe has some nice stuff, other than the trial offers, not sure if any is free or not w/o an account. I have an Adobe Creative Cloud account with them so I get access to their Spark program for free. Spark is fun and easy to use and you can create all kinds of stuff. https://www.adobe.com/products/spark.html?promoid=85665VZX&mv=other I'm currently looking into 48 Hours Logo and they look promising. I want to make sure they will provide me with what I need and also read online reviews about them. I want to hire a designer and let them do it. I'm not a graphic designer and I don't have the time and patience to mess with it. Their prices seem very reasonable to me and their logo designers do super nice, professional work from the examples they show. https://www.48hourslogo.com/
  16. Hi @Quentin. I assume you transferred your domain from GoDaddy to another domain seller? I have some domains with GoDaddy that I'm going to transfer to my 1&1 IONOS account because GoDaddy is more expensive. https://www.ionos.com/ I have several domains with 1 & 1 as well and I'm really happy with them and they are cheaper than GoDaddy, plus "private" registration is included with 1 &1 domains. I've not been too impressed with either company's website design software but it's ok and gets the job done. And of course there are many other options out there, just wanted to let you know.
  17. @MilosCandles this is such an awesome and helpful post. Thanks so much for sharing all this information.
  18. Those are neat. I agree, I have tried and don't like those flat metal bars because they do slide and move around. I like those metal bow tie ones too, I use those alot and they fit several of my jars. I've seen them on several supplier's sites including The Candle Makers Store https://thecandlemakersstore.com/candle-making/candle-making-wicks/candle-wick-centering-device.html I've never tired them but I've seen similar plastic wick holders like the ones in your photos at Aztec https://www.candlemaking.com/wick-center-holder.html.
  19. Neat, I bet they look real cute. I noticed those camo lids too and got some ideas for future projects.
