  1. I need your help everyone. When I was going through my "I have to have everything and make everything" stage I bought these items in a co-op or fast buy from Nymphaea Naturals. I have a 16 ounce botle of Trideceth-10 Solubilizer and Emulsifier and a 16 oz container of PEG-40 Hyrogenated Castor Oil Solunilizer and Emulsifier. I have tried contacting Pam Ingle, the owner of Nymphaea Naturals but she hasn't responded to me. Does anyone know what on earth these are and what I can use them for? I remember then being costly but not what they are for. How sad am I? Thanks for your help everyone. Teresa
  2. I was wondering how hard it woudl be to get out of the mold. Let us know ok?
  3. I have some nice soap dyes that make a pretty lavender color.
  4. You could use the crock part of the pot just fine, if it is bog enough to suit you.
  5. Wal-Mart has started carrying candle type jars, like apothecaries and such in their craft dept as well. They are over priced and not is great quantities but they could sure be used as testers.
  6. Hi there. This website is the best for shoosing wicks sizes. Try it out. http://www.wicksunlimited.com/atkins_pearce_htp_wicks.php HTH's. Teresa
  7. Here is a link to the Atkins and Pearce website that shows all the wicks they sell and the melt pools and consumptions rates. It is an indispensable tool for us all. http://www.wicksunlimited.com/atkins_pearce_htp_wicks.php You can choose the kind of wicks you want to use and then look and see which one creates the size melt pool appropriate for your container. Takes some of the guess work out of choosing a wick. HTH's. Teresa
  8. With a 1 inch melt pool on a long burn I still dont' think you would have a problem with the wick falling over. I use the CD wicks and have no trouble with that at all. I DO love the zinc wicks also though. Blessings to you! Teresa
  9. I guess we have a difference of opinion that might be cleared up with an explanation. I am a power burner as are many of my customers. We would much rather see a 1 inch deep melt pool in our soy candles than any wax hang up, ever. Everyone has a different idea of what is over wicked I guess.
  10. It is normal for an inch of wax to be melted when burning a soy wax container candle. It doesn't mean you are doing anythin wrong or that it is overwicked. The thing to watch for is to see how long it takes to get a full melt pool with the wick you are using. I use wide mouth jars so I expect a full melt pool in 3 hours time. If I don't get it I use a larger (hotter) wick. HTH's! Teresa
  11. Try pouring cooler into warm molds and coolign slowly like in a warm oven. It works!
  12. No yelling is when you use ALL CAPITALS LIKE THIS...but anyway, I have never ordered those so I don't know. Surely someone has. Maybe a better title for your question like Flower Pot Lids, do they fit tight? Might help get more answers.
  13. Those are awesome looking. I bet they feel terrific too! Teresa
  14. I am looking for them because I have a product I need some explanation about.
  15. You certainly can make a liquid soap at home. I just made one with Sunflower and Castor Oil. You need KOH instead of NOH, but it isn't that hard. If you would liek a recipe just let me know.
  16. Thank Tara..I guess I figured that must be the case. Did someone else buy them out?
  17. Does anyone know where they went? I can't find them anywhere on the web.
