Ok so this is what I did tonight. It is Scented with Peaks "Spring Rain".

Here it is with the first layer of curls and clear MP.

Then I added a second layer.

Here it is right after being unmolded, but before it was cut into bars.

Here are the bars after they were cut.

And packaged...

Lovespell is one of my best sellers, I would have never thought to color it blue. Thats the wonderful thing about making candles yourself you can use so many different colors. The jars look really nice.

Well, they are actually purplish blue, they just seem to look bluer in the picture than they really are.

Thanks for all the advise. I did try witch hazel, but I also tried lower temp when I poured. Next time, i will try with out the witch hazel and see what happens!

I use the dupe from wholesalesupplesplus and I love it. My friend Sara orders it all the time and she says it smells just like it!!

I have a basic recipe that I use on most bars. It is posted in the recipe section if you want to try it out.

Natty, mine was just a typo, but I am glad you caught it, but un-labeling is a pain in the butt! Oh well though, it is not like I have anything else to do!

The ones that I sell do not have food coloring. I use liquid soap color. I have found that the ones that I do not put any color in seem to sell even better. I only make litte tiny pots of it. I do not sell that much of it unless I am at a craft fair, then the teeny boppers buy it. You do have to use cosmeitic glitter and if you sell it you should make sure that every ingredient is B&B safe. I have never added FO but that is a great idea. And I also buy the aloe gel from the store, it already has preservative in it.

And dang, I posted this like 1 year ago. I found this recipe. I d not remember where I found it, at. But, anyway, now I have altered it to be my own. That is what I hope you all do as well!
