Is this normal?
This is my first time using vanilla stabilizer in my MP soaps. I am trying to make cotton candy soaps and I followed the instructions on the bottle and mixed equal parts FO with the stabalizer, let me tell you when I mixed it up, it smelled like, (for the lack of a better word), ass. It does not stink once I put it in the soap, but let me tell you it had a really bad sulfur smell. Is something wrong?

This is my own blend of Pommegranate, Mulberry, Raspberry and Strawberry.
First I tried to attempt layers.
But when I de-molded it, the layers did not stick together. So I cut it up in to chunks and re-poured.
Then it de-molded beautifully and I cut it with a crinkle soap cutter.
Then I packaged it.
Here is the label:

Lovely colors!

OH, but I love green.

Yes. Inquiring minds want to know!
yeah.

I use Peaks liquid dye. It seems to be pretty good in the fact that, it does not "settle" in the bottom of a jar candle.

Those are DA BOMB~~!!!! :highfive:
Since it IS "steelers soap" shouldn't ya say it is DA BUS??

Now that is one classy looking bar. I am jealous of your talents!

I'll tell ya...I'll make the soap and you can name it and we will be rich.. :highfive:
I like Fire and Fruit. I want to see what it looks like done and unmolded first though.....
Well if the color changes on ya, I will give you more names. It is fun!

Tabatha, I don't think I live very far from you. Maybe I should make a road trip so we can go to those suppliers that you live near!
-
Hmm, I just orderd $88 from them and it was only $8.66 in shipping. But they are in OH and I am in PA. According to yahoo it is only 1 hr 45 minutes from my zip code to theirs...maybe I should take a drive....

Grumpy if you are interested in MP dog soap, here is the recipe for the bar that I made. There are pics of it hidden in the gallery somewhere if you want to try and find them. But, here is a link to the recipe...

When I did it, I did not have vit E so I used aloe vera instead.

I'm absolutely jealous! They're beautiful! Plus, your packaging REALLY makes them stand out!! How wonderful!
I have some Moonlight Path FO here I've been wanting to use. I'm going to have to use those colors and make some now ... you're a BAD influence!! Have you ever tried selling that scent before? I'm still not sure I like it.
Great job, as usual!

IT seems to sell more for men...women buying it for their men.
Thanks everyone for your comments! I just wonder how it would look if my stars would not have melted.

My first attempt at chunkies in soap! I made these using an empty instant oatmeal box. Here they are just after they were cut. (I used a pillar candle mold for the round yellow "moon". The melted yellow things were stars lol.
Then I trimmed the edges with my krinkle cutter.
Then I had all kinds of scraps.
I could not waste them. So, again using a pillar mold as a soap mold, I stuffed the scraps into the mold, and poured yellow around it...and got this:
I actually like the scrap bars better than the original bars! Here they are all packaged up!
