Awesome! Congratulations - those are beautiful!
-
I also like the color combo and the texture! Nice job!

Presto pots work great and melt wax fairly quickly. Make sure you get the right one! (I still don't have a spigot..but hope to have one installed soon!)

Creativegemsmolds.com should have what you are looking for. Even if they don't, Janet (member of this board) is real good about working with you.

Can't wait to take a look and try! Thanks Donita!

That's really a bummer. I'm sorry and hope you can make something out of your notes. My guess is that 'houseguest' won't be back anytime soon!
So sorry -

Love the colors! Nice!

Beautiful! Just beautiful! What nice work you do and thanks for sharing it with us!

Not to sound like the bad guy here, but there is a reason the grocery store doesn't put soap, window cleaner, etc in the same bag as your food. Even though it's sealed, there is that chance the candy could take on the scent of the candle... hth

I use the free paint stir sticks from Home Depot. I also save any clear plastic container to put things in from wick pins, votives, etc.
I save my scraps of wick for firestarters (as well as leftover candles/wax)

I don't think I'll be making any car fresherners with this!

I was hoping to get this one as my sample fo:cool2:

Trish - those are soooo cool! I just love the new look (and the old look 2):highfive: GOOD JOB GIRLFRIEND!

First Lady - those look great! I don't know how you can dip something in wax and not have it look like it's been dipped. I guess if you continue to dip then you have the wax build up and that may not be too good!
I got some black roses yesterday (friends 50th birthday) and dipped them in wax with no color, when it dried, you could see that it was clear/white. So I put some black in there and dipped again. They turned out pretty good. She's gonna get a bouquet of black roses tomorrow. I hope she likes them.
(oh...by the way, Peaks Rose Bouquet is wonderful!)

Sharyl - that looks pretty darn real! Truly makes me want to head to Starbucks!
I, for one, appreciate the way you let us know how you make these candles!
Great job, thanks!:highfive:

What a beautiful memory for your mom and family. I'm with Sharyl, I loss my mom 1-1/2 years ago and that poem was just was very touching.

WOW! Those are wonderful. I'm impressed with your work!

I have found that these molds seem to suck the wax more than metal/alum. molds. I have to do more than 1 repour....I don't know where that wax is going!:undecided

Great job there jen. I'm sure the receivers will love them!

What an awesome job! I'm always impressed with your work!:highfive:

I don't think wax from 2 years ago matters either. Could be that particular 'batch' of wax....
