  1. If they say it has a one year shelf life, that should mean that it's good for one year from date of purchase.
  2. Wow, good for you. Where will you be shipping the soap, which country?
  3. I have some left over from my co-op. PM me if you want some. I get it at lookchina.com. You have to buy 2.2 kilos at a time and have a tax ID number if you wanna buy direct.
  4. They have tons of them at Dollar Tree in the wedding stuff.
  5. I cure my soap on stainless steel racks and in 2 years of soaping I've never seen DOS, except pics on the here.
  6. Is there a supplier name on the bottle. If there is, send them an email and ask for suggested usage. Make sure it's skin safe also, if it doesn't say on the bottle.
  7. Most FO's aren't recommended at higher than 3% and that is mixed with other oils/butters etc. It's your skin...
  8. Whatever... If it was me, I'd just turn the text box 90 degrees and they'd work perfectly.
  9. This is the one I have. It works great. It has two different size bevels and also planes the bars. Kangaroo Blue Soap Beveler
  10. I use the original boxes that the containers came in.
  11. 2 x 1.5 labels They are right there and it tells you which template to download.
  12. You can also try using less. A little goes a long way.
  13. Actually, Peak sells them. They can put your name and address and even the scent name. I can't find them on the site but if you search the site, they come up.
  14. I use 2x4 labels and label the back of the box. I wrap the last inch over the end and have the ingredients there, over the closing flap. That also seals one end of the box.
  15. The clear lid boxes were from Sunshine Container. http://www.sunshinecontainer.com/soap_boxes.htm Here's the clear ones, Outlandishlady posted the link a while back. http://www.bayleysboxes.com/soap%20box.html
  16. Holly, are you doing the Pig Out in the Park?
  17. I used to put mine on a cookie rack above the forced air duct. That did seem to help the drying process. I'm no expert but I assume there is more to the curing process than drying out the soap.
  18. In my car you'll find Old Mill Goddess, AH/SNC Fresh Cut Tulips or SW Sandalwood Vanilla.
  19. I've never seen that tutorial. It's a good one. Thanks for posting the link.
  20. Nope, didn't see the lol but didn't want you to give up before you tried.
  21. Don't sell those mold yet. B&B and soap are just as much fun as making candles. Try it. You may be a great at it, you may not. You don't know until you try. B&B doesn't take as long to perfect as candles. Have a very good scale, some common sense and a love for reading and learning and you can do this.
  22. LMAO...It is perfect. It is the leftover fat.
  23. Emu oil if you have it. I use emu every time I have a burn. It really helps.
  24. That's a good question. What happens to the milk when your cake is baked. Is it still there? Same with soap I would imagine.
