    I would say to use a sugar scrub recipe and add SLSa to it for some bubbles. FBB would be easier but I hate the smell of it so I don't use or recommend it.

    Are you using SLS or SLSa? There is a difference.

    I used it a back and added salt. It dried out my hands so badly I threw away the other sample I had.

    Hey Tweek, are you the one that called the supplier? I dealt with this company exactly once. I ordered a tablet maker. After repeated emails with no answers, I finally go my products. Hmmm, it was mailed just a day after I complained on this board about not getting the product or return emails. The shipping amount on the priority box was way less than I was charged. Ellens Essentials is definately a company I won't be ordering from again. Hey Ellen, if you are reading this. I'd love for you to respond and dispute this.

    1.5% and you are getting amazing throw? I got a sample of that a while back and barely got any throw at 8% in my wax blend.

    CarolGrant posted that mold the other day. What are the dimensions. What do you charge for that mold and how much does it hold. Can I test it for you??????

    I just re-read the info on the saratoga website and it says after the bars are "fully cured" they will just fall right out. Sorry, I can't leave a soap in the mold for 6 weeks. LMAO I really like my 9 bar kelsei. If I fill it to the very top, I get 18 bars because they are all 2inches thick. I just cut them in half.

    Yeah, that's what I thought. I made unflavored lip balm for a friends daughter that had the big red circle all around her mouth from licking. She used the lip balm and told her it was medicine and not to lick it off and she didn't. LOL...They won't lick the medicine. It would probably be more effective with the tea tree oil as it tastes icky.

    Before I bought soy for making candles I bought a small amount from MMS for a soap recipe.

    LMAO Not in mine. I use beeswax. Maybe it's the percentage of paraffin. Try to mix a tiny bit with some mineral oil. Isn't that what they add to the parffin to soften it up for those dip things. If it disperses with mineral oil then it has to be the paraffin. IMO Wonder what would happen if you made your own wax using soy wax and mineral oil. It would be even better for your hands, wouldn't it?

    Maybe they are more oil dispersible than wax disperible. I'd say they don't mix with paraffin.

    But the dividers come out of the BB mold. That mold she's talking about the dividers don't come out. The soap just falls out when it's ready. Not with my luck...

    I think of it like this...The water evaporates out, that means that when the soap is all cured, it is supposedly only saponified oils and superfat oils. Therefore, you only scent the oils. I may be wrong in my reasoning but that is how I figure it.

    What happens if the soap doesn't release? Sometimes I have a heck of a time getting my soaps unstuck from the bottom of the kelsei, I'd hate to have to unstick a bar from that mold that the dividers don't come out.

    I get it at Costco and it's about $4-$5 for about a 50lb bag. It's the one in the blue bag. Get the crystals, don't get the pellets. HTH
