  1. Wow, those are very nice, and nice burn! Is that a votive holder inside the grubby? If I can ask, where did you get that mold....I am thinking about trying something like that.

not the best place to order if your in a hurry. My friend was ordering from them so I had her pick this up. Everything took weeks to get it all in. Love the mold too bad they take so long.

  2. First where do you get the glass t-lite holders? Have been looking around at the craft stores and haven't seen anything. Need some thick glass votive holders. Have some thin ones but afraid they would break if used over and over in a everlasting candle.

What is that weight? Seems like I have seen something like that but where??? Love your candle and plan on making some pillars myself when the holidays are over. Got some wax 4045h and was told to add a little Micro 180 to make it a little harder.

  3. I use a container soy and these will last for days. Very Sexy RA 1.2 oz pp, Vanilla Jasmine ASS 1oz pp, Rosemary Mint B&L(BCN) 1oz pp, Pink Sugar SW 1oz pp, Spell Bound NG ?, Magnolia TW 1oz pp, Plumeria ASS ? & Orange Spice TW. These are the one I remember that last 3 or more days. Most every other scent I make last 2 days or more at 1.5 pp. Good luck

  4. Mix what? Mix paint with candle medium? Well that way I should get a good pink. But will the light show throw like a sheer pink? I know with regular paint it will not let the light through. I have to have these done by thursday, had months to work on them, just like my kids with homework. Now I'm going to Hobby Lobby. I have a sample pk. of candle paint but nothing like a pink.

  5. I bought a grubby silicone mold with a ribbon cutout in it. I have tried to fill with wax and that is just not working. The wax will run in the grubbies. Hope you know what I mean. I am either going to make these for a t-lite or electric since they have the center already out. The candles are poured white and ready for some pink color for the ribbon. Going to have to dig out the one I keep experimenting on cause it looks like crap. Plus the wax is cooling so fast it's looking wavy. Any tidbits of help would be greatly

    appricated....

  6. I bought 16 oz of Emu oil in January from WSP. I was finishing up some I bought FNWL so didn't open for a few months. It came in two sealed 8 oz bottles with a date of 1/06 and good for 1 year. I put in fridge like I do all my oils. Well when I did get it out and poured in some of the soap cream I bought I could the smell, yuck. Ruined for me the whole batch. I can't stand the natural smell of unrefined shae, Borage oil, Hempseed oil, wheatgerm, green oilve oil etc. Have given away many oils because of this smell.

Since WSP says I should have opened when I got them and complained then, they will not give me my money back. I just need to know if FNWL is still a good sorce for a scent free Emu? I have been buying Emu for years and bought from several different companys , don't even remember their names and the ones that had a smell seemed to be the soap grade not a lotion grade. Anyone else have this problem??

  7. oh and does anyone know how to make the paper? I have a friend that makes paper. Anyone got any more in depth knowledge of it? I don't come up with much in searches

Amazon sells some books on it. I have a few plus there are some kits. Maybe go to the library and look. You need a fine mess screen and some fixitave stuff. But the paper is made with water and torn up paper, fiber etc. Best to get a book, it's something I have only tried once and didn't have the right screen so it showed on the finish paper. I think I'll get a kit sometime. This is a good place to check out... there is a good video info section.

  8. From my neck of the woods "organic" can mean no pesticides used in the growth of such plants/veggies/animals. To me it means a biotanical product.

"Organic...involving the use of food produced with the use of feed or fertilizer of plant or animal origin without employment of chemically formulated fertilizers, growth stimulants, antibiotics, or pesticides." Dictionary.com one of many answers

Why would they ask this is it some kind of farmers maket? Cause I can't think of any other reason to be organic except for food.

  9. My electric tart warmers stay on 24/7 and have for the last 6 years. They are the same as a 25w lamp but I use wax in mine so it doesn't evaporate. In a couple of them, tin, I don't put anything in just use for a night light. The one that has the name of my busness punched in it, I just put a 7w bulb and some scented rocks. Use it just for show. I tell my customers it's up to them, that mine is on all the time but I make the tarts and can have as many as I want. They have to buy them so if I were them I would turn it off when they are not home or if sleeping since you can't smell them. I think that's what most do.

  10. Hey Sara, when you use a picture, do you print it out on regular paper? Just wondered if certain papers are better to see through.

    Hey Scentlady ~

It's completely possible to do a four-sided one. I did one as my very first Hurricane attempt. Here it is...

You do have to move fast, but if the sides start to cool before you're done, zap them with the heat gun.

Pm me if I can help any!

    Sara

  11. I usually have a Wagner and they last me about a year. When I first started making candles it was an embossing gun, now I have one of the cheapies but none last me very long. We'll see how it does and if it doesn't last a year then I won't buy another. I say go for the cheap one, you may not use it much and it will be a learning thing.
