  2. Thank you all for your input. I now have a huge list to choose from so I'd better stop drooling & get on with the selection. Sally.

  4. Oh they are so pretty, I'll have a matching set with ear rings please! Sally.
  5. Crack Soap, I'm intrigued. I'm using mostly soy wax but I'm working on a soy/para blend too. I don't do B&B yet but the temptation is soooooooooo great. Good job I'm busy with the wooden roses just now or I might succumb! Sally.
  6. I see the Peaks co-op has started up, do any of you have any recommendations before I go ahead & order. So far I've tried Blackberry Sage...yummy Black rasp. vanilla havent used it yet but oob is ok Mediterranean Fig also havent used yet but like it oob. I think I've got a couple of others but I can't find my lists just now. I especially like the sound of Bird Of Paradise & Breakfast At Tiffany's amongst a whole load of others so narrowing down my choices might take a while! TIA for any suggestions. Sally.
  7. I'm selling my scented singles, in cello wrap with onion grass & additional silk leaves on the stems for between £1.50 & £2.00 depending on how much the shops take for commission, that works out at roughly $2.90 to $3.90 each & folk seem happy to pay that. Sally.
  8. It's lovely seeing what folk are doing with their roses, they're so versatile. Sally.
  9. I think they are gorgeous, I love the colours & the effect. Sally.
  10. We don't have them or presto pots here in UK so I'm happy to use my tea urn when I can. Sally.
  11. I use the Everito Bandito method but don't use wick pins at the moment. The most important thing I need to remember is Not to take the mould seal off the wick end or the candle slides out & I get a wonky bottom like before. Sally.
  12. Hi Stacie, yes the paint I use withstands the heat really well, that's why I don't use pebeo which is so much easier to get hold of over here. I don't know what your light fittings are like in US but they fit in any standard ceiling fitting or lamp in UK. I love them so much my house has them almost everywhere which annoys my eldest cos they aren't bright enough for him. Sally.
  13. They are all lovely, especially the "work in progress" & I love the idea. Sally.
  14. LOL I think I know each & every one of the UK candle users on that chart. Sally.
  15. OOOO I love neroli & your soap looks so good. Sally.
  16. Thats some rose Donita, you are so clever. Sally.
  17. Why thank you all. The bags aren't bags at all, I got some cello circles from my supplier when I ordered the roses. The circles turned out to be enormous so I cut them in half. Still way too big so they are now cut into 8 pieces, each piece is folded over & taped together then tied with the ribbon & tag. Roses etc supplied by www.iepromotions.co.uk Sally.
  18. I have an old tea/coffee urn which I've used to melt larger quantities of wax (paraffin not soy). Mine only has high, medium & low settings not actual temperature settings so I have to watch the temperature of the wax carefully....& remember to turn the spout off. I need to replace the power cable so it's out of use just now tho. Sally.
  19. & just what's wrong with that pic, they all look gorgeous. Sally.
  20. Aww thank you all, I'm burning the fat one now & it's doing remarkably well! Next time I'll add some fragrance. Sally.
