  6. Nope, I dont cover it at all. It comes out fine. I never have any ash or anything wrong with it. I always leave it in for 2 hours at 175 then turn it off. Eight hours or less later, its ready to cut. Hmmm, still wondering why others use saran wrap.
  7. I dont use anything. Any special reason why you use it?

  12. Yes, its true. Unfortunately, butters and oils do have a shelf life and they dont last forever.:undecided
  13. Old fashioned shredder from the dollar store:cheesy2:
  14. I use to sell them in a box with a clear lid and a gold stretch bow. That got tiring really really fast! I've tried the cigar bands, they got dirty easily. Then I tried all naked bars in baskets. Well it became really difficult to put the bars in packaging and label the packaging when the customer had their money in their hands - especially if they were buying 6 bars. So what i did was put them in the oval cut boxes and a label on the back. Then, I had one bar in front - naked. The customer can see/smell the naked bar and then can pull up to 4 of the same scent in the basket. HTH, Carmen
  15. Its the olive oil thats making it hard to color. Your FO isnt discoloring the soap. I use that FO all the time:wink2: Try either using the red as suggested or increase the amount of pink you are using. IF all else fails, You might have to switch to another recipe that calls for lighter oils.
  16. If you are looking for just a few bags and dont want to buy the entire case, let me know. I've got some debbie sized kraft bags here. I can send you 50 if you need them.
  17. I've used up to 30% shea in a CP recipe and never had the smell come through. Did you use FO? Could it have been the FO?
  18. I got that message 10 min ago and just tried again and it worked.
  19. It all boils down to if you want to cut or not. Thats really the question. If you want the ease of no cutting get the Kelsie. If you want to cut, get the upland. Both are great molds.
  20. GInger lime from IFT. Best seller this weekend.
