Other than taking the kids to school, working at the farmers market and craft shows every weekend. I did take some time out for "me" Here I become one with my oils. Blackberry sage from Peaks.

I made this confetti soap because I joined two swaps. One on the dish for tallow and one on the whisk for confetti. I killed two birds with one stone. 90% tallow and 10% mango butter. Dark portion is Vanilla grapefruit and overpour is Raspberry Blossom.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Yes, its definitely too darn early for xmas music! Robin - I agree with you 100% - it has made a huge difference adding color!

You would think that a craft show featuring 120 vendors would attract a BIG crowd, NOT! Attendance was horrible! I couldnt believe my eyes! All in all I think I did very well considering there were no buyers. Here are the highlights. - One man asked me what were the benefits of soy. After my big speal, he says "thats it"? I felt like kicking him out of my booth. AFTER he bought 3 soy balmoral candles of course! - A young girl walks up to my booth and I ask her if she would like to sample my tropical sunrise soy lotion. She goes and grabs her mom to see if its okay. Mom ends up buying 5 bars of soap, woohooo! - Husband comes to booth first. Falls in love with the pumpkin pie soy candles. Goes to grap wife who LOVES pumpkin pie. She ends up buying 2 vanilla and one apple. GO FIGURE! Here are some pics. Dont mind the guy in the background. Obviously, he wanted me to photograph him or he would have moved out of the way. Oh, forgot to mention, this place had some very loud CHRISTMAS music playing all day. I've heard of Christmas in July. But Christmas in August? C'mon, its still 4 months away!

This really shouldnt bother me but it really did today. Hubby's mother was visiting for 3 weeks. She is leaving back home tomorrow. As she is packing, I noticed about 12 bars of some "Zest" soap. Immediately, I become enraged. Why you ask? His entire family knows that I make my own soap. His mother was over last week ooohing and aaaahing over my soap. Why on earth would she go and purchase soap from a store? What happened to supporting the "family owned business"???? UGH, and to top it all off.....Hubby asks me why IM SOOOOOOOO UPSET? Are you serious? So I go on to tell him, dam, you know never stick up for me. You could have said, Mom, why would you go buy soap from the store? You know that Carmen makes soap that is much better for your skin. Plus, I would have NEVER charged her for anything. His response? Well, my sister took her to the store and probably paid for it and that is the soap that my dad likes. My response to that? I GIVE UP:rolleyes2 Please tell me im overexagerating. Please tell me to forget about it and we cant teach an old dog new tricks:laugh2: Pretty please?

YES!!!! They did think it was very odd:rolleyes2 Everytime someone would read my label they would say hmmmm, linen and my hair? And then put the bottle back on the table. Like I stated previously, I sold very few.

2 LBS shea butter 2 oz shea oil. Put in micro for 30 seconds and whip, whip it good!!!!!

I once marketed the 3in1 formula. Sold very few of those. Now I market linen spray only.
