  1. Thats about the going rate for a junior league show. Me and my cousin once split a booth that we paid $1600.00 at the convention center. I did very well while she only sold $100.00 As far as a price as a mall kiosk.....try $5,000 a month in my area. You gotta love the suburbs of Chicago!
  2. I get 2 end cuts of soap with every CP batch I make. They range in 2 to 2.5 oz each. Does anyone have any suggestions for these? I thought I could sell them but they are not the prettiest of the bunch.

  4. Here are my original instructions that you can find under techniques and ideas to the left of this page.... http://www.candletech.com/marbled/ That was written for pillar candles but you can use the same info to make containers as well.
  5. Because my camera was dropped and the flash doesnt work. So I decided to take the pictures outside but I guess that didnt work well.:embarasse
  6. My brothers friend asked for a "clean smelling" candle so my brother decided I should make him a marbled candle. Here are the results. I used my version of Spring rain (Bittercreeks Basil sage mint). Grey color on the bottom layer and black/white marble on top.
  7. Good luck. Although I didnt follow what happened to your shop, Im glad you decided to hang in there. There are lots of heavy obstacles in our way but we somehow pull together and move on.

  11. Dont worry. It will all come together somehow....it always does doesnt it? Before you know it the baby will be sound asleep and you will have more time to finish what you need to get done. Have a glass of wine tonight!
  12. I just received my first fundraiser order. I gave the organization 40% off each candle. I left the price per candle the same as I would charge retail. I also gave the highest seller a 30.00 gift certificate to best buy. Even though you are not making much per candle, the exposure is great as well as the bulk order!
  13. Im selling candles online and doing alright but could be better. I sell mostly by word of mouth, craft shows and home parties. I would add those candles to gift baskets containing your other products as mentioned.
  14. I've been making some major changes to my website and would like the opinions of anyone with a 15 inch monitor. Can you view the entire page or do you have to scroll side to side? www.ebcandles.com Thanks so much for helping out! Carmen
  15. Good luck from one Illinoian to another. Is that a word?
  16. Nope, you dont want to start confusing your customers.
