They are beautiful. Good luck in drilling. You'll have to let us know how that goes.

Do it! $75.00 a day is not bad at all. Free ads and advertising on the radio is icing on the cake. You've been to this show and it's packed. I don't think you can pass it up.

I've used wax that has a mp as low as 141 and haven't had any problems. It would depend on the size of the opening though as to what wax to use. The centers of mine are at least 3" across. If your openings are small you may have to look into hurricane wax.

Chocolate. Gosh it's been years since I made those from gel wax. I did make the wax look like chocolate milk.

Or it could be polymer clay stuck to the inside of the glassware.

I'd love to see one with the green wax the same color as the flowers.
Now get going and make it. Than you can send it to me.
Try a little yellow with the green dye to see if you can come up with the right color. JMO

It's an extra step I take in the winter time. Basement is pretty cold, molds are cold. In the summer time I don't heat the molds.
Vicky, Vicky, Vicky, what am I to do with you.
I should think it would take less time, less movement of molds and less electricity to use a heat gun or blow dryer.JMO:D

I think if you hit the inside of the mold with a heat gun or blow dryer that should solve your problem. I pour aroung 200 and don't have any problems. HTH

That's great to know Paula. All I did was put a drop on the top of the rose in the vase. The vase is painted to match the rose.
Matches pretty good. I picked up a bunch of vases at Goodwill. Bigger vases have 3 roses in them at graduating heights. Small vase in pic is $5.49. I'm now using plastic baby's breath that can be found at Wal-Mart and other craft stores. The real ones are just too expensive.
The basket is scented rose and boy does it throw so no need to scent the roses. I'm confident that nothing will happen to the roses inside the basket. The bulb doesn't get hot enough, just a tiny bit warm. I've also made them with the roses outside on a bigger plate.
I'll have to take pics of the display I have in a craft store.
