I used a wet towel with ice cubes in it to cool off the sides.

Leave it to Robin.
That post was almost 2 years. I miss Alan posting.

Ok someone be brave and try it.
Whip up some shortening with fo in it and stick a wick in it.
I remember Alan tried the butter and I don't think anything interesting happened.

Several of us have made these. I did a few years back and they were fun and easy to make. They are great looking candles but darn hard to ship.

I love my carriers. I hardly ever call for a pickup unless there are lots of them. I just leave the boxes at my side door and poof they are gone. These are walkers so sometimes they deliver the mail and come back for the boxes. You just can't beat that.

All you need to do is a quick dip to coat the outside.

Make sure you put uv in your icing or the color of the drizzle will eventually suck out the color of your candle and turn the drizzle a different color.

I used some raffia to tie around it and put on some silk flowers. I think scrapbooking things would work well. I know the lady that told me the idea was selling many, many of them. I put mine in my closet and they smelled up the area nicely.
But for those that don't want to dip and decorate I have a mold.

I did the tp along time ago. I didn't try to sell them but just something different to make. What makes the tp unique is the decorating that goes on it.

Your candles are beautiful! I've had one everlasting palm candle crack at the top when burning tea lights in it. :undecided
