  1. HI,,For my 3 inch round molds I use 24Ply Flat Braid,,I have been using it for a long time and it burns very well,,HTH
  2. I have never gotten a confirmation email from Peaks,,,I do however print out the order @ the end with the confirmation number on it,,, I have been a customer of theirs for a while now,,PEAKS ROCKS!!!!

I never put my dye or scent into my Presto Pot and I have a spigot,,, I do not measure my wax I put into the Presto either , Instead I have several Pour pots I use if making diffrent scents that day,,Makes it much easier. Then I pour out the amount needed in a pyrex and then into my pour pot,,Then add Color and FO. For my container Candles I heat my wax to 180 degrees, pour into pyrex then pour into my Pour Pot to mix well and use a candy thermometer to wait till it gets to 165-160 degrees and then pour into my container. When doing Pillars I heat wax to 185 degrees,,pour into my pyrex the needed amount and then to the pour pot,,add dye and FO mix slowly and then pour my pillar @ 175 degrees,,,HTH;)
  10. I use the Chips,,I have Liquid for black as it comes out BLACK and Not with a tinge of Purple,,,The chips have done very well for me and will continue with them,,,
  11. Have you bought Molds yet? if not check out www.pourette.com they have very reasonable prices and their awesome,,This is where I buy all my molds,,HTH;)
  12. Hey Glowlite what I good idea!!! I never thought about wrapping my wick in aluminum foil!! Great tip,, thanks for sharing,,I have wick pins now and I love them!!!
  13. LMBO,,,I know how ya feel,,the first thing I had to learn was patience and making candles has taught me that!!! You will be fine!!! I wait till it is cooled and I too sometimes wait over night,,
  14. I take my pour pot and put it upside down on a cookie sheet with paper towels on it and put in oven for a few minutes to clean my pot,,BUT you do not have to worry that the scent before will be there for the next scent. It does go away,,,hth

  17. I use the Leather back Journals you can get at wal-mart for 8.88,,,and almost time for a new one:D I like to write and this way if my computer breaks down I have my handy dandy Journal,,,

My favorites are: Vanilla Passion (and I do not like Vanilla so this one IS the exception) Rose Bouquet (you need to really love roses because this will knock your socks off,,LOL) Ocean ( smells like I am right there) Genuine Leather (smells like a brand new car with Leather seats) French Vanilla & Amber ( very good) Sorry I could go on and on,,but I have to say these are my top picks,,,
  21. That is a great idea and one I think I am going to follow,,,we have put bottled drinking water and have put certain foods that are not perishable in a cabinet. Just in case,,,Its better to be ready then to wait and then you have nothing stored up at all,,,,Always best to be prepared...Thanks for sharing!!! Oh and to think that this flu will NEVER come here, is not good thinking or caring for yourself and your loved ones,,,JMHO Prepared to be slammed for my last statement but thats okay,,,I know I WILL be ready!!!
