First thing,,Hello and Welcome to CT!! Can you tell what wax it is,,soy, paraffin??? If Paraffin yes you would heat your wax to around 180 then put in your pour pot,,add Dye if coloring them,,then FO,,and I pour my Tarts @ 175...Now for the ones you say you poured hot,,how do they look? Are they smooth? It is best if we know what wax you are using to really be able to help,,, For curing,,you take them out of the molds,,I wrap mine in a cotton hankercheif and set them in a dry dark place for 24 hours and then I test burn them. You really do not usually need to put them in the feezer to un mold them,,try letting them cool all the way and then un mold them. Im sorry I keep editing this but I am trying to answer everything,,, But please what wax are you using,,Thanks,,I want to help

I use 25% container 4786 and 75% 4625 pillar,,,Works great for me and they smell wonderful!!!

Hi,,Yes the Presto Pot is a good must have!!! It is called a Presto Kitchen Kettle from Wal-mart and there are instructions on this Board to put spigots on if you like,,,,I love using the presto pot better then a double boiler,,,a lot easier to use and you can control the temp. Make sure to get a candy thermometer or a digital one,,,HTH;)

I am going to be testing FO's from Snowtop,,,New Orange Blossoms and Raspberry Dream,,,,Putting them in Soy,,,they smell wonderful OOB,,,

I have started into soy,,finding I really like the new GB 464,,with Soy I have found you either have to use 2 wicks or the largest you can find,,I am happy with this wax using HTP 1312 for the 464,,,I have noticed with the different FOs I need to double wick,,But I think it is so worth it!!! I am a paraffin lover and will continue with it for my pillars..but I want to make soy containers,,, HAve you tried the 700 premier series wicks? A lot of Soy users love them for that...Any way Good Luck!!

For Paraffin I like the 4786 also,,it is a great hot/ cold thrower,,,,,
