HI ,,I use square Braid wick # 3 for my 4 sided pyramid,,,HTH:D you can find them @ peaks

The problem is that you need an adapter to use any US products as we run on different wattages,,Uk at 50 US at 60,,,everytime I go back home to the UK I need an adapter for my hair dryer and such to work,,,Look into that and it will work,,

No I have not experianced the mushromming on the HTPs,,and yes I am getting a full MP,, There is no soot on the jar,,I noticed the pic I took was in front of my black dell computer,,LOL,,,Sorry about that,,will try to get a better one done!!!

464 WICK update-HI Everyone,,I have used the 700 series W1-798,,,although it works well in my 16oz wide mouth Kerr it has problems with Mushrooming real bad,,,So I put in a HTP 1312 and this works very well,,,,FINALLY!!!!!!!!! :laugh2: WOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

HI Everyone,,Thought I would do a 16oz wide mouth kerr jar with some color. I used 1 red ruby dye Chip(wanted to see how a dye chip would work in this wax) and 1.5 oz Rose Bouquet from Peaks,,poured @ 135, covered it up to cool off and this is what I have,,,No Frosting and I didnt add anything except dye and FO, the cold throw on this is AWESOME!!!,,,I am not impressed with the 700 premier series wicks but I have a W1-798 in this candle to try out. Will update as we go,,, Edited to Update,,,, Started to burn this candle and OMG,, the Hot throw is so awesome!!! I couldnt believe it,,Finally a great Soy wax I can use,,WOOHOO

If you take and add each item up that Peaks offers in there Kits you will pay much much more,,And their Scents are awesome!!!!!!!!! So you wanna do containers,,get the container Kit,,, I love Pillars and started there!!! Anyway,,here are my 2 cents worth,,get a notebook,,,read,,take notes on EVRYTHING and read some more,,Even if you start with a kit,,TAKE NOTES!!!! this is very important!!!! your notes are your recipes,,,,

Hmmmm Well I have been testing these wicks with the GB 464 and I used the biggest they had in their sampler w1-798 and it worked in my wide mouth 8 oz Kerr jar. However it still left a wee bit of a film and YES they DO smoke when they are extinguished. I am trying to stay away from having to double wick. Now in my wide mouth 16 oz kerr I am testing the HTP wick 1212 but I may need to try the 1312. Anyway,,,I am going to use the the 700 series in some paraffin and see what I get (trying to get away from Paraffin),,,,Ahhh the Joys Of TESTING!!!!GRRRRRRR:laugh2:
