I am going to start getting my egypt roomed cleaned out on one wall and DH is setting me up a bench so I can make my candles in a warmer room and be by the computer,,,,,Im so happy!!

Hello,,,I bought my kit from www.peakcandles.com they give you more for your money,they send you 10 LBs of wax a 3x6.5 mold, a 4lb pour pot..5 2oz's of FO wick sealer, thermometer and some other things,,,,add these up individually and they cost much more and I love their scents,,,,this is what I started with..it was well worth it,,,JMO

Now personally Im not sure BUT this wick looks weak and is not allowing the sides to melt down,, I would say wick up,,some great people to ask would be Geekrunner and Topofmurrayhill or dustpuppy,,They have some great advice. Sorry I could not be more help,,,,

I use the powder white color dye from BCN or BCS one of them anyway,,its good stuff and you dont have to use alot,,

Mine smells like,,Red Currant in the livingroom (tess made it) I love this scent,,,my egypt room smells like pomegranite and it smells divine (made by Topofmurrayhill) Downstairs bathroom Creme Brulee I made with the GB 444 I have lime basil going in the family room. Upstairs bedroom Candy Corn made by (wv_candleguy) and thats it,,Im still burning some of the Christmas swap votives!! I still need to leave feedback!!! LOL,,,,but my house smells great!!! Oh and Red Hot Cinnamon too for some Heart shaped container orders,,,

HI Soygirl sorry it took me a couple days to post this,,Thanks so much for your advice. I wrote it down And also thanks to Meredith, Geek and Jason!!! you all have been a great blessing to me!!!

Well I have been doing Paraffin for a long while now and I had not thought of getting into Soy until Jason from Golden Brands came along and I found a distributor 45 minutes away from me that carries the Soy,,Most was the shipping costs and then one day,,I had a lady ask me about Soy candles,,,she stills buys my paraffin but now I have some other folks asking as well and it all started because I was testing the 444 and 449 and a friend of mine was here when I was doing it and it spread by word of mouth that I was in a testing stage,,,I quickly let them know it may be a year or so before I put Soy on anyones shelfs and my customers seem to be okay with it as they keep ordering,,,So I will continue my paraffin and keep testing the Soy. I would like to add that the GB 444 & 449 has a great cold and hot throw,,I am still burning my testers on these waxes,,,,,With some GREAT help from a couple of the members here I am also testing the GB 415,,and I am very Thankful to these people....okay Im done,,

Wal-Mart carries the GE silicone II. I have used the household silicone but did not like it as much,,I wick a lot of jars and yes after you burn your candle you can take a steak knife and pop it out,,,takes a little push but it will come loose,,HTH

Hi,,I had a chance to get 6LBs to test the J225 when they were send free samples and I loved it much better then the J223,,Great Adhesion,,cold/hot throw,,BUT it is expensive. If you dont mind paying the price I say YES it is worth it,,,JMO

HI,,I have used the J223 and have not had any problem with soot on my walls or anything else,,,we have an old furnace thats still in good condition as we keep it up and have it serviced every year to make sure its working properly,,we change out filters every month,,HTH,,

Hi Found some batteries,,this is the candle I did yesterday,,,why is there beading around the edges?? this has a HTP 105 and has been burning about 20 minutes,,thought I would share,,,TIA oh and re-cap...GB415, Cucumber melon FO, 1/2 oz per 1 LB soy, Hunter green dye chip,,,and a HTP 105,,,it has an awesome cold throw,,,Starting to smell the hot throw,,, Sorry it double posted

I just emailed and asked them,,will add to this after I receive a email back,, Alabaster never returned my email so I would say NO its not the J225,,,I will keep looking to see if they respond in the next couple days

I do hang tags on some of my candles but for the bottom I get the semi-custom round warning labels,,I get these from Peaks,,they will add you business name, telephone number, and city and state,,then all I do is write in the scent,,,love it,,,
