    When I first started I used the Pillar Kit from Peaks and they give you a lot for the price,,,when you add all of it up individually it cost more,,so for 50 bucks you cant beat that price and get what peaks offers you,,JMHO;) www.peakcandles.com They ROCK!!!!!!!!

    Yes,,you think by now GB would give us some temps since we have all tried different steps. I know Peaks is selling the GB so I went to their website to see what pour temps to use for the 444 and 449,,But Darn it anyway,,they are not selling the 423,,,I have a local supplier for the GB415 Plain Soy and she also sells the 423 BUT she doesnt have the pour temps either,,Im so FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay Im done venting,,thank you,,

    See when I had my pillar made with the 423 it burned great for about halfway down and then it fell like jelly almost,,,I didnt have any cracking,,,isnt that strange??

    I order most of my molds from pourette and they will send some wick with it,,,now its going to look like a rope,,LOL,,Not kidding,,LOL,,,I use 36 ply flat braid for my larger molds...I use raw wick and prime it myself,,,HTH

    Wow there are a lot of these I can relate too 1. forgetting to add FO 2. dropping my eye glasses in my presto pot (DH got me contacts) 3. Trying to clean my plastic embed molds in the oven ( Hello, plastic melts) need new ones. 4. I am on my second heat gun because when I was using it I accidently set it back onto the counter in my Presto Pot. (DH willnever let me live this down now)

    Hi,,Candles and supplies have it for $15.90 per 11 LBS or $71.68 per case @ 1.28 per LB,,,I think I will have to wait to see if it will get a wee bit cheaper,,,,To rich for me now,,anyways Im testing Soy,,,,HTH

    Yep thats what it looked like,,I re-melted the wax to 170 then waited for it to cool to 110 and when I poured I tilted it like you would a beer very slowly and it set up good,,I did poke hole reliefs and did a re-pour,,Looks Great now,,,Im going to test a HTP 105 for my wide mouth kerr jar 16oz,,,,OMG I forgot to write down my notes!!!! :embarasse I better go do that!!! Thanks everyone for all your help!!!!!!!

    Hi Everyone,,,I just started testing GB415 Soy and was told to let it cool to about 100 F or until looking slushy and I poured VERY slowly,,I did that and as it has set up it looks like I have a ton of Bubbles in it!!,,What should I do please??? TIA

    I orderd from them only once and it took 5 months to get my order I had to threaten them by telling them "I am going to call paypal and the Better Business Bureau if my order does not come soon" After that I got my order within 2 weeks,,,I wont ever buy there again ,,,I say "stay away" JMHO,,,

    Thats GREAT!!!! I have had the same thing happen to me @ our local school,,I took the secretary a container and asked if she would mind burning it in the office and she said sure,,I have gotten so many orders from the Highschool alone that keeps me busy,,LOL,,,,Congrats!!!:highfive:
