I have some of my wax do this also and I do what scented suggested and zap the brains with the heat gun,,,I love my heat gun:p

WOW I love the pink sugar and all the sparkles,,,I put my wicks in manually. works rather well for me,,,But I AM tempted to try wick pins,,LOL:p

I recently made some tarts and my kitchen is very cold in the winter and they shrank really bad,,,time to find a different room in the house to make my candles,,,,,

Hi Everyone!!! I have been doing pillars now for about a year,,,I just now have been having some problems with the screw and the wick. I put my wick in and leave about 1 inch and I try to put the screw in next to the wick and I do not screw it in to far as usual but now they have been coming out with the wicks almost cut off,,,what am I doing wrong???? I use IGI-4625 and I use peak pre-blend pillar mp145 with a 24 ply flatbraid in 3" diameter pillars,,,,This is what I have used all along and now having these issues with the wick,,,,,HELP!?

May I ask how do you triple scent your wax??? Since 1oz of FO goes into 1 LB of wax??? It says on your website that you triple scent???

Oh here is one for ya,,,,I ordered a case of wax from WSP and my hubby had ordered some things too,,well I have a big house and I heard my dog barking (Chihuahua) and when I got to the door I seen the ups driver getting some stuff out,,so I was on the porch, And mind you I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia,,,he sets the 62LB box into my arms and WALKS AWAY!!!!!! I asked him Sir,,,Could you please help me get this inside the door,,he looked @ me and said NOPE got more orders to deliver!!! As if taking 20 secs out of his way to help me!!! Then I discover the other half of my order was sitting on my back porch!!!! he never rang the doorbell on either porches!!! I was so mad!! Now today I am hurting and cant pour candles today. UPS is getting on my last nerve!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and it was 5pm when my order came and usually they are here at 1pm like clock work,,,

we had a topic on this before and really I like using either the 24 ply or 30 ply flat braid wicks. I think it is a personal preference to be honest. If you have a great melt pool of about 1/2 and the sides about a 1/4 I would say you have a good wick there but this is just my opinon I am sure others will chime in

Oh Kayrn,,,DO NOT order from there,,It took me 5 months to get my Gusseted Cello bags and I had to threaten to call Paypal and The Better Business Bureau and I got them within a few days after that. They have alot of Issues and they need to stop taking orders they can not fullfill,,,,HTH

I use peak pre-blend pillar MP 145 or IGI-4625 for making my Votives and tarts and I use the 44-24-18 zincs,,,,They burn very well,,,I have started to test the LX but not because of anyone asking if there is lead in the wick but because I have heard good things on the LXs...I have never had a person question me on my wicks HTH:grin2:

I was just going to say that,,,LOL,,,looks like you need to zap it with your heat gun to smooth it out,,,

I bought mine from Wal-mart like Trisha,,its a wagner and works very good,,I love my heat gun...LOL:p
