  2. I have also found a lot of nice baskets from the good will store. I make sure they are nice ones and have found some great ones up to 3 dollars for my family. doesnt hurt to at least look,,HTH

  4. I also like the spruce christmas tree,,,it smells nice,,,I have put French vanilla amber in a pillar and to me smells wonderful!!!! I have that one burning now,,it is a heavier scent so I only used 1/2 oz. HTH
  5. Congradulations on your first candles!!! Feels good doesnt it and now you have been infected with the candle bug and soon it will become an addiction,,,,LOL. I agree with Peaks being GREAT!!! I used the J223 and liked it better then the J50 but ya never know,,you may like it!!! I know a lot of people on here use it.
  6. Hi there,,I dont know how cheap you want to go but I know Michaels molds are expensive. I order from www.peakcandle.com for my wax, wicks and molds as I find them to be reasonable on shipping as they are in Denver.Colo. and I am in Illinois. I have gotten some great molds from the classified section of this board too. You can also try ebay, sometimes you can get some great deals there too,,HTH:grin2: Never be sorry about asking questions!! Im sure others will chime in soon

  9. I would say it depends on the jar. I use Kerr wide mouth canning jars and I re-fill them for my customers,,,other jars I am not sure about...

  13. HI,,I do not have a digital scale I have one that weighs up to 7lbs I got from wal-mart,,,I use the Candle Cauldron's sheet that breaks it down. what I want to know is,,I have oz's on this scale,,will this type of scale be accurate?? or should I invest in the digital one? TIA:confused:

  16. I live in a small town and I use the Kerr widemouth jars However just for that special customer that wants a prettier jar I have 26 oz apothocary jars and some Victorian jars of all sizes since my logo is based on the Victorian era,,,,
  17. I have had orders for gift baskets too with my candles,,,I have been having fun making them,,,Some I put like a 3x3 pillar 4 votives a 3x6.5 pillar and 1 air freshner sachet,,,They are becoming popular,,LOL,,,
