  4. Hi All!! I am so rotten at thinking of new names for scents, I so depend on you guys!! I mixed BCN Sp Cranberry, Berts Christmas Pear and a little Berts Aspen Forest. It smells so awesome, I can't quit sniffing it. Can anyone help me with a name. It does smell kinda Christmasy and I do like creative names...I can't think of anything but Winter Wonder Land....any help would be great. Thankyou all so much! Merry Christmas! Hugs~ Michele
  5. Hi, That's not a dumb question if you've never burned one before. After a bit, you won't be able to smell anything, then just dump the wax out and toss in a new one, the wax won't evaporate. HTH Hugs Michele
  6. Hi Howard!! Omg, run, run as fast as you can. Get away from these candles and don't look back. Your pocket book will thank you, especially if you live so close to a supply house. It will never be the same again!! This all true but if you can't, you'll be just like the rest of us. Which that is not all bad, we are some really great people, just broke...from buying oils..I'm only speaking for myself, but think there might be one or two like me. You'll love all your creations!! Good luck! Hugs~ Michele
  7. Hi! Wow, you guys are all so awesome, I should be able to pick a new name from all these for sure!! Thankyou all so much for the help! Hugs~ Michele

  12. Hi Again! Bert is nicest person so I love giving her my business. She appreciates it so much and I like that. If you have any questions, she is super about helping out and is not a super big company, I think she is a one woman show! And her oils are awesome! Hugs Michele P.S. Gran...what were the good ones?Hehehe I know another order could just accidently happen..
  13. Hi! You girls were all right, how dare I doubt you? I thought that Stella had said buy the blue so I got that goofed up. Wow, that's a surprise, something new for me! I gave a tug and don't think they are moving, which makes me feel alot better, seems like once in a great while, they would move with the glue. My sister said she could never get hers out even when she pulled and pulled but I have a friend of mine give me back her jars, the ones that I have grubbied up and made prim, I just reuse them to put stuff in cause they look cute sitting around, and have noticed that once in a while the wick tab is slid over to the side of the jar. That freaks me out when I seen them. I know that she power burns alot so maybe that has something to do with them moving, not sure, but she's getting some of these new ones, that's for sure! Thankyou so much for sharing your tips, girls!! Hugs Michele
  14. Hi! Yeehaa!!santa chee It's a done deal!! I think I got 9 new ones to try! I still have samples from AH when they had their sample sale to try out but ya know, what if I got on a roll and then had no new ones to try? That would be terrible! Hugs~ Michele & Sam(my little man wanted to be included tonite:)
  15. Oh goodness girls...grasshopper got no patience!! I thought I would be good to go in 2. Fooey!! Well, I guess that means I'm on for tomorrow. I thought maybe I didn't have the right stuff or something. Thanks so much for the help, don't what I'd do without ya's!! Big Hugs Tonite!! Michele
  16. Hi Judy! Thanks for the help, I do wash the jars and ya know, I don't think I used more than like you said, about a pea size. A little did kinda squish out but I tried not to get carried away. They had the red, also a black and a copper color I think. I really wanted to do up those candles tonite but I just don't know what to do now, don't think I should pull them all out and try with the hot glue like I used too...maybe if I just wait till tomorrow they will be ok, I'm just kinda worried now that this isn't gonna work for me... Hugs~ Michele
  17. Hi! Ok, gotta question...I went and bought this, I read on here that it works better than the hot glue. I think it was Trappeur's post that Stella said how she does it. I let it set for 2 hours and thought I would start pouring. I thought I would make sure it had dried so I just lightly tugged on one, it came right out, tried 3 of them and same thing...any help anyone? PLEASE?? I really need to get 50 candles done and don't really trust the hot glue much anymore... TIA Hugs~ Michele
  18. I totally agree, Bert was the first one I ever ordered from about 3 years ago and she has always been awesome, and candlesource is super fast too!! I agree!! Which reminds me, I was reading on here and someone had said that Berts Vanilla Latte was great and I've been behaving and not ordering a ton of new oils so think I need to splurge, one last time before Christmas. Hugs~ Michele
  19. Hi Trapp...and all ya others!: I used the suggested amount that she told me, .5oz on the ooey gooey carmel and coconut macaroon. .75 per oz with the others. Maybe they need more than a couple days to cure and get a good cold throw. Seems like others have used gb415 and had good luck with them...maybe it's just me...none of them smelled good yet today... Hugs Michele
  20. Hi, I poured a couple of my testers 2 days ago and I'm pretty bummed. Pumpkin coffee, marsala chai, ooey gooy carmel, vanilla voodoo and coconut macaroon. Don't have my notes right here and I added what was recommended for use and none smell like much to me. Maybe my snifffer is goin...I used gb415, I'm sad now... Hugs Michele
  21. Wow, this has been kinda fun for me to read everyone's answer...Thanks all you awesome peeps!!! Hugs~ Michele
  22. Hi All! I am just curious as to what is your all's favorite part of candle making, soap making, bath and body products? Do you like the making of the product itself, packaging it all for selling? The setting up and doing craft shows? Coming up with ideas for new products? Or any other part I missed? I know the actual selling is the best by far, but I think my favorite part is the packaging it when I get it all made, looks so nice and like ya really got something done!! Can't wait to hear your responses!! Have a great night! Hugs~ Michele
