  1. Why dont you guys try the new ACCU soy waxes? Since the same formulator now works for ACCU, I am sure they will have the wax that is the closest to Calsoy.
  2. hydrogenated veggie oil is just solid soybean oil. like crisco but without the added cottonseed oil. There is a lotion bar recipe that is posted a few posts down in the recipes section that uses soybean wax, which is also hydrogenated soybean oil (just a bit more hydrogentated to make it firmer) and shea butter. Start with that recipe and tweek it.
  3. That looks wonderful, but wow, that BTMS is expensive.
  4. Yeah, that palm wax is way too hard. But they probably looked nice. lol
  5. Cool, glad you made some. I have been using a couple all weekend that I scented in Pink Sugar and Gingered Fuji Apple.
  6. I have been making these and pouring them into the soap clamshells. Pop it out and rub it on your feet, elbows, and knees all summer long, then replace inside clamshell to keep fresh. 90% Container Soywax (Most container soywaxes are cosmetic safe, I have used Cargill C-3 and ACCU Blend container soy waxes without any problem) 10% Shea Butter I add .5oz of skin safe fragrance per lb. Melt Soywax to around 150 degrees and remove from heat source, add shea butter and stir until fully melted, add fragrance and pour when cooled to a slushy/cloudy stage so that the clamshells do not melt. You can also add skin safe colorants as well.
  7. Great packaging for your candle products. The aluminum bottles seem they shoul have a longer lable.
  8. Those came out with some awesome effects.
  9. Dont use the clay in soap. escpecullay in your lye water. its not like other clays, its too abrassive. Buy some mud and add 1-2 tablspoons per lb of soap oils to your soap pot after trace.
  10. WOW that cut soap is rockin!!
  11. Peaks has a lot of single note fragrance oils. So does Genwax
  12. wooohooo thanks for the update on the description.
  13. with the hydrogenated one, you get a more firmer bar of soap, however some of the moisturizing properties are lost. its close to Crisco, in consitancy but without the cottonseed oil added.
  14. order the lemon eucalyptus EO from Oregon Trails. that is the true citrionella EO blend
