  1. I dont think USA will allow you to increase the FO load very much, because you use so little. I add 7% FO load right now in C-3 without additives. I dont color anymore, so I dont worry about trying to prevent frosting, but when I did color and I did add USA, I only added a tablespoon per lb of wax. I didnt have to wick up when using this small amount and it helped with the frosting when I was selling during the spring.
  2. Type of Soy or Soy Blend you use? Cargill C-3 Additives if any? None Preferred dyes? EVO dye or mostly NO DYE Preferred wick (Not sizes)? HTP Pouring temp you recommend? 145-150 What you do to prevent frosting? Cool Slowly What you do to prevent rough tops? Cool slowly Do you do anything to prevent wet spots? cool slowly
  3. I just found a company called Presslabels.com and they sell the 100 sheets for $49.00. Best deal I have seen yet. Waterproof full sheet injet white labels. http://www.presslabel.com/page/PL/PROD/Waterproof/IJWG
  4. I bought some from Oregon Trilas not too long ago
  5. you may have to leave them natural colored, which is white. you can still see the nice star bursts that the palm wax creates. as far as natural EOs to fragrance you candles, they dont burn strong very well. another resource you could use is soybean oil based fragrance oils. they are not all natural cause the fragranc epart is still synthetic, but the carrier oil is soybean oil. and they will give off a stronger smell. most people want srtong smelling candles even if they are not 100% natural.
  6. those are really cute, i must pick some up next time i am around one.
  7. *faint* *faint* *faint* those are amazing. loving your swirls
  8. Yes, you will get more benefits out of EOs if you add them at the end of the HP process, right before you glop into molds. Since the chemical process is almost all done and the tempuratures have begun to cool down.
  9. cool!! and it looks like if you buy the 12 lb lot, its only about $2.50 per lb. pretty good.
  10. looking good. i am sure the cotton candy will darken up a bit more. i bet it will smell great though.
  11. aaaah those are cute. no not selling online yet.
  12. I have tried mixing in some M&P and I have no clue what percentage to start with. Everytime I tried adding some, it ended up hardening too much and I ended up with a bar of soap. I have some FBB coming in the mail and am going to try my luck with it. I have got some Rosehip oil i want to add to it and some Macadamia. We'll see.

  17. i would only do shea up to 10%, otherwise it takes away from the bubbles IMO. coconut 25% shea 10% OO 40% lard 25%
