    in my experience, EOs suck in candles, especually soy wax. i notice i have to wick way up when using them, otherwise not use as much. I never get a good fragrance through either. :-( good luck

    Millcreek has a great one that throws awesome in Soy and smells true.

    Great job with only a few batches under your belt. You are so lucky to have been able to attend a convention. Most noobies dont have it so lucky and strike out on their first few batches.

    I totally agree with you, I love anything Sage, and also Ginger. I am sure we can work out a trade or something.

    some BRV FOs discolor to tan since they have vanilla in them. But the BRV from Oregon Trails doesnt discolor at all. At least from my testing.

    those are actually soy/paraffin blend waxes. are you trying to stick with soy?

    Patchouli usually needs something sweet to overpower the musky dirt smell. Sweet Orange usually works well. I like the idea of honey too. Pinapple would be another yummy one. I have smelled some Patchouli mixed with raspberry and its great. So i would start playing with some sweet fruit FOs you have in your cupboard. But when you mix it, I wouldnt do straigh 50/50 blend. Go with a 2 to 1 blend, 1 being the Patchouli.
