  1. not sure if you are looking for something for candles or soap, but for soap, I use one from Oregon Trails and its pretty strong!!! Ginger Spice Ginger is the scent of the upscale products in high end shops now and you won't be disappointed with this one. It is a scent to remember and you'll love it's staying power, no worry about scent fade with this one, you'll love it till the very last drop. Lots of Ginger, with just enough spice for interest.
  2. oh crap, it totally looks like a grubby candle.
  3. i always make sure my soap gels. to me, it makes it set up quicker and the color comes out a little darker. I find it too hard to try and prevent the gel, and when i do, some of it ends up gelling anyways, so i get dark spots and light spots in my color then it looks bad.
  4. just a heads up that the honey can cause a batch to over heat. be carefull when wrapping the soap too much, it may crack on top.
  5. Thank you, I love reading that kind of stuff. It is now bookmarked.
  6. For soap I use Oregon Trails. Coconut Breeze or Creamy Coconut and Amande Amère (Bitter Almond)
  7. all of them look terrific. :highfive: childs room is so adorable.
  8. aaaaaah adorable. i love the blue color of that bear.
  9. do you just make candles? or do you do soaps too? the best thing would be to eliminate those products that could possibly melt. Like ditch the candles, but keep the soap.
  10. OMG those look way too real. I would have taken a bite of one for sure by now if they were in front of me. I like both.
  11. Diptyque Baies Dupe looks wonderfull
  12. it looks great. no dont worry about getting another mold. the secret is that you need to pour at thiner trace. dont beat the colored and uncolored portions too much with the stick blender. Pour the uncolored portion into the mold at a thin trace, then mix up the colored portion and pour it into the mold on top of the uncolored. This way the colored portion will sink to the bottom and start layering on top of its self as you pour back and fourth so eventually only a little will remain on top. When you pour at too thick of trace, the colored portion can not sink down towards the bottom.
  13. I just received and order from them two days ago and when I placed my order, I received a shipping notification the next day.
  14. personally I think your confetti soap looks great. :wink2:
  15. yep sure can. you can move the side pieces closer to the middle and make the mold smaller.
  16. very cute, i love the font. do you want to add any color in it?
  17. since you live in PA, you may also want to try out Candlewic. I use Candlewic and Peaks, and now Millcreek in my soy candles and some of them can also be used in B&B products. Oregon Trails is great in CP soap, but you may want to stay with a supplier that is a little closer to you.
  18. wow, loving the blue swirls. i dont think i can achieve those with cp.
  19. oooh very cute, it looks like a new born little baby. nice purple you achieved there.
  20. great job. everything looks great. love your candle labels
  21. okay I will give this one a shot in the wax tomorrow. i may end up sticking with casaba from peaks though, since its a blend of melon and other stuff, it comes across less sweeter than spanish melon. I am having a problem with people complaining that some of my scents are too sweet. :undecided
