  1. can you tell me how you make laundry soap?
  2. No how can you ignore that description? I love all of her descriptions. lol
  3. Oregon Trails Kauai Ginger Blossom Also known as *Hawaiian White Ginger*, this glorious scent of the islands is captured in this romantic, gingery blend of tropical florals. Destined to be a winner for those who do shows. It turns a lovely, soft pale creme and very easily handled with little to no acceleration, no real problem, just pure tropical heaven. We have noticed that this scent blooms in soap making the longer it cures. It has Liz's,(our resident Hawaiian), seal of approval, who could ask for more? It's like a vacation to the islands. Note: May accelerate slightly in some recipes, work with cool temps and I would not do a water discount. Flashpoint: 170°F Candle: OK
  4. Sounds like its frosting. This is a natural thing that soy does.
  5. no, you definately shouldnt rebatch it.
  6. you may have to drop it down to a 5% fragrance load.
  7. Heat gun doesnt keep them secure enough when the candle burns all the way down, I have had some come loose in the 8oz square mason jars with the tabs glued with a heat gun. Its becuase the bottoms are a bit curved up and they will slide to one side. Better stick with the wick stick ums. I havent had any break on me though, Richards Packaging makes some pretty durable mason jars. But I am still not going to take any chances.
  8. I think the numbers look great as well. They are pretty close to my favorite recipe and I think its a great bar.
  9. I remember another thread on here where someone posted a pic of a plastic tealight cup that was totally melted. Everyone told her that the customer must have done soemthing special to it to make it melt like that. hmmm now I am not so sure.
  10. this is the one i was speacking of. Its for the upland slab molds.
  11. which cutter are you referring to then? I was referring the the one they made especually for the upland mold.
  12. I am totally joansing for an Upland 12 bar mold, and think I will take the plunge with my tax return. The recomended cutter from For Crafts Sake is looking very tempting as well, but the price is giving me the chills. Is there anyone out there that has both and can give me that extra push to say both are worth it? Am I really going to fall in love with the cutter as much as I will with the mold?
  13. WHOA, thanks for the heads up about the watermelon, I was going to buy some and CP with it. I really like the GM one with purple.
  14. Mine sometimes ash in the corners where the gel doesnt reach
  15. I am about to order a large order from them as well and Spearamint Basil is one of them. I havent tried it before but its sounds too good to pass up. Their Ultimate oils always work great in Soy. Coconut Lime and Sweet Sandalwood are a couple of my long time faves. I am also ordering Sea Tonic and I was totally eyeballing the Bamboo Musk and Basil Nectarine. But I am going with the Ginger & Amber and Mandarin Sandalwood.
  16. great job, they look rock hard. Now please post that recipe you have been working on for two years. :laugh2: :laugh2: Just kidding
  17. it means that it still smells when its burning, so thats a good thing.
  18. Do you think this is may be similar to Cool Citrus Basil?
  19. You shouldn’t apply anything just yet, until the stitches come out, you want to keep it dry for now. Once the stitches come out Pure Vitamin E is the best way to go. You can get some capsules and break them open. I like this way best for one use applications.
  20. unfortunatley every supplier is different and you should never assume that both are safe for CP, or even both are skin safe. I love the smell of china rain too
