Its best to order by the gallon, then they come in pails and you can scoup out you portions without having to melt the entire thing. I learned the hard way when i first started and received coconut oil in a bottle. i was totally confused.

i am not sure if these oils lather without being saponified. if you just add extra oil after the saponification porcess has already taken place (with M&P it has already taken place), then the oil will keep its original properties. i only make CP so I am not really sure about MP :undecided

Agreed, Candlewic and Peaks are the first two companies I started testing with and I am finding myself right back with them. They dont have as many unique blends as other companies out there but they always throw very strong in soy.

I have used french green clay and dead sea clay. the dead sea clay can be drying but it really helps with my complexion. I have oily skin and large pores, and it keeps them cleaned out. edit: I use 1tbl per pound of oils.

same thing happen to me, a friend of mine used a bar of tea tree oil soap i made, and got some in his eyes, said it stung worse than any other bar he has ever used. oooops, gotta watch out for some of those EOs I guess.
