    aaaah, so instead of scenting the entire candle, you just insert a scented column next to the wick. saves money by not adding FO to the entire batch of wax used to make the candle.

    Tuscan Nights does have that melon middle note, maybe straight out of the bottle that is the most picked up scent. I bet after pouring it, the top and bottom notes really blossom. I wish i lived next to Peaks aaaaaahhhhh suspense really kills me.

    I was also wondering what happens when you burn them and the liquid gets even hotter than when pouring. Wouldnt they leak that way too?? edt: aaaah Mod Podge, I will try that

    anytime i try to pour into tins that are not seamless, they always leak at the bottom seam. Do you seal yours in some way?

    oregon trails has something Orange Blossom Spice A bright and bubbly orange scent with a kiss of spice. This is an orange scent with personality plus.

    My faves out of that bunch are Juniper Breeze and Cool Citrus Basil. (infact i just placed and order for more 5min ago. )

    We could probably make our own, by cutting our own plastic disk and using a hole puncher to punch the whole for the wick. Something like that.

    Dust and scent loss is not a concern for me at this time, since I only make large batches for upcoming craft shows and I dont have anyone buying from a retail shop. I would most likely use the idea above if the day ever came where they would be sitting around on retail shelves.

    The walls on these are very thick, even thicker that the apothecarys i was using. and they have a thicker base too.

    I am not using any lids. I dont think I need them either. I made a bunch of these about a month ago and stored them in the boxes they came in. I didnt notice any scent loss when it came time to break them out for the show. I got them at Genwax, its a 25min drive for me.

    These 10oz Monticiano jars were a big hit at a local craft show I participated in yesterday. I have been doing apothecary jars, but they were just getting too expensive, so I decided to go with these as a classic alternative. I sold more of these than the square masons I also had. It seems people in my area enjoy the classic/contemporary look instead of the country/homespun look.

    up the coconut to 15% to get your cleansing and bubbly lather up a little more. I assume Sanflower is really suppose to be sunflower? Other than that the recipe looks good to me. soap away

    i attach with a glue gun then use these wooden craft sticks with the notches in them. The notch holds my wick snug. I get them at my dollor store, but i am sure regular craft stores have them too.

    fairways in NV will have better shipping for you for containers. Just order from their site and while checking out, it will give you a drop down menu to select the warehouse you are closest too. Since you are in washington, i would really start getting your wax from Swans since you may be able to drive there. for FO's I would suggest Cierra candles.

    no fragance oils are pure, they are made with a carrier oil that "dilutes" the synthetic fragrance.

    maybe have her smell other clean type FOs like Clean Cotton, Fresh Linen. etc...
