    Soy gives off such bright opaque colors, I love it. Colored these with EVO dyes, the rust color is scented Fall woods with a touch of honeysuckle to calm it down, the white is scented citrus cucumber, the blue is scented midsummers night with a touch of honeysuckle, and the burgundy is scented mixed berrys with a touch of cucumber. They all smell terrific, now I just have to wait a couple weeks for them to cure. I started using the C-3 again so I must re-learn to wait.:rolleyes2

    these soaps have all been cured and are rock solid, no bleeding or sweating of the oils.

    perfect pics and directions. I thought the layers wouldnt have set up so quickly before the next batch of oils is ready and feared them bleeding into each other. now i am no longer afraid

    I was thinking of buying some brown paper to wrap sashes around my soaps but then I remembered I had a bunch of paper sheets left from scrapbooking. Yeah!!! I saved some money

    I use the EVO dyes from Candlewic (located in PA) at 6 drops per pound and get nice deep colors. They are only $3.79 an oz but dont come in a dropper bottle. I can get a true burgaundy from these.

    Fish Oil and Hempseed Oil are high in Omega 3, maybe a soap using fish or hemp oil?? :undecided

    ditto. veterinarians say that bad skin and hair comes from a diet that doesnt agree with the dog.

    I think its 1 tablespoon per pound of oils. anyone else have a different amount?

    no none at all. its so weird, maybe when it fully cures it will return back to the pleasant smell.

    if you find you need to add hardeners or any additives, then why dont you just use the pillar blend instead?

    So I decided to make some Tea Tree and Eucalyptus EO soap. I always throw it in the oven on warm temp for an hr. I have mixed the Eucalyptus with Lavender before and used Tea Tree by itself before with no issues. This time the smell was just horrible after it set up. It smelled like Perm solution. I don’t know what went wrong here. When I first mixed the two together it smelled soo yummy. Very fresh and stimulating. Do you think the cooking made the EOs turn?
