I can mostly smell the lavendar (I have a cold, though, so my smeller might not be smelling right, LOL). The tea did smell pretty funky when I mixed it with the lye though! Steph

BCN has great Customer Service and most of their oils are very high quality. Bitter Creek South has some great oils as well!! Have fun playing! Steph

Thanks everyone! I wasn't sure how it was going to go, since HP is so different. It wasn't a real thick trace, but that is okay, at least I sort of know what to look for now!! I can't wait for my co-op oils to get here so I can make some more (have quite a few FO to try, along with some colorants). Steph

I have done 2 batches of HP, but wanted to try CP to see which I liked better. It was a simple recipe. I used some titanium dioxide to color. I then used Lavender EO to scent. I used chammomile tea for my liquid and then used some dried chammomile, lavender, and oatmeal (ground fine in a mini food processer) and added it at trace and sprinkled a bit on top. I don't know if it gelled, but it cut really nice.

Those are great swirls, especially for a man's soap (not Lovespell, LOL). It does look great, even if the colors didn't turn out how you expected. Nice to see some of your work again!! Stephanie
