  1. I finally decided to get in the mood to soap again, trying to gear up for Spring and Summer. I had made some Citrus Splash about a month ago, but hadn't been motivated because I hadn't been selling much. TOday I made Backwoods Passionfruit and Guava and Rosemary Mint. I have a few more to make, but I need to test when with my vanilla stabilizer (Tropical Tango is one). I also have to make cubes for peonies and peaches. Thankfully soap gets better over time because I need to sell off some of my fall stuff to make room for my spring and summer. Anyways, i will post pics when they are cut. Steph
  2. You can buy a premade linen spray, but they are fairly simple to make, but not sure about your costs, being that you are in canada! The Rose Hips are like potpouri. If you check out the Supplier's sales thread at the bottom of Marketplace on this board, Vanmala usually has good sales and I have heard great things about her company. Good luck! Steph
  3. I use the Clementine crates for a lot of things, including displaying my soaps for sale! Steph
  4. Yes, they do look great, but I agree with Michi about the cost, especially having them printed with your information. They do look so elegant though! Steph
  5. I add some clear MP soap to mine to make it a bit of a cleansing scrub, especially nice on the feet! Steph
  6. Thanks, Carrie. The less I have to buy the better! Steph
  7. I am with Bethany. I am just getting going. My focus is on my soaps, so if the candles don't sell, that is fine! People need to be clean and I refuse to use store bought soaps and washes (will still buy lotion if I have a coupon, so I don't dip into my profits). Candles people can do without, but i would probably still make for myself, family and friends. I am gonna stick with it and see how it goes. Doing my first show in April, so that will be a big factor, plus I will be starting home parties this summer. Steph
  8. I am wanting to make some foot scrub, lotion, and spray for this summer. I have Rosemary Mint FO from BW and it smells great, but I was wondering if it would be better to use an EO blend (Peppermint, Spearmint, maybe some grapefruit, along with Tea Tree) for the natural benefits. I will also be adding menthol crystals to the lotion. Steph
  9. Very nice for your first ones! Looks like you are having fun! Steph
  10. I am cleaning today because it needs done and friends are coming over with little ones, so I need to pick up all the small things off the floor, LOL!!! Tomorrow I am hoping to get my masterbatch of oils mixed up so I can start soaping this week. I would also like to make some sugar scrub and maybe start playing with some body butter! Steph
  11. I sell candles, soap, lotion, body wash, lip balm, air fresheners, melts and warmers, hand sanitizers, etc. I would be careful with food, you usually have to have a separate kitchen and special licensing to do that. Good luck! Steph
  12. I tested one for BW that was Lavendar and Clementine. It was nice, but it just wasn't strong enough. Lavendar Vanilla is nice, too!!! Steph
  13. I need to make a 30 pound masterbatch of my soap so I can start soaping again next week. I haven't been selling much, so I haven't been motivated to make anymore! I also need to clean my area so that I can get something done. Steph
  14. That looks great in the mold, can't wait to see it cut! steph
  15. Congrats! Looks pretty good for your first swirl and first time. Steph
  16. Very nice! I wish I could learn to swirl with CPHP. Steph
