  1. Yikes! Those PB ones are sort of scary! I guess what happened with the others could have happened to any of us if we didn't test each batch of wax. I am just getting ready to order another batch of Pure soy, so I will be testing at least one candle from each of those. Steph
  2. Yeah, I am not a fan of the groundhog either! Steph
  3. I am having my first open house on Saturday. It is actually at my mom's sewing shop, because it is in town. If I had it at my house, no one would want to come because we live in the middle of nowhere! Mom helped me set most of it up today, I have a lot to sell, plus I am debuting several scents for spring. I have my stuff in a friend's salon downtown, so I cleaned that out and everything is ready to go for Saturday. I didn't realize how much product I had stocked up! Hope I can sell most of it. I do have some "Yard Sale" stuff priced really cheap just to get rid of it, because it has been sitting around for a while or has some cosmetic flaws. I am having a sweet snack and a savory one, along with punch and coffee. I am also having a drawing for 3 $5 gift certificates if they enter their contact information. Have at least 10 people coming that I know of. I hope the weather cooperates, but who knows what it will be like in PA on Saturday. I will try and take pics so everyone can see it. It sort of in a semi-circle set up, so people can just browse around. Sort of nervous, but don't have a lot left to do. My sil is coming over tomorrow to help me label some stuff.
  4. I think it looks nice in that color! Steph
  5. Very nice! I like the springy color. Steph
  6. Great job! It almost looks like a cable knit sweater. Sounds like you are addicted. Steph
  7. WOw, you have been busy! I love the clean look. Gotta put that beveler on my list. Steph
  8. I was burning BW lilac, but blew it out (didn't smell too good mixed with the spaghetti I made for supper, plus it had reached it's full mp). Steph
  9. I am burning this in my living room (which is 16x28) and it is coming over to where my computer is and it smells soooooo good! The doorway to our dining room (where I am at the computer) used to be a sliding door, but the ceiling in our living room is high, so a small JJ candle is scenting at least 2 rooms. Love this scent. Steph
  10. I just bought some of the foil cupcake liners to minimize this, hopefully! Steph
  11. I use a fancier one for my business name and then I use a more plain text for my scent and other information. Then I just use a simple one for my warnings and ingredients. Steph
  12. Great job! Your swirls even went the whole way through. I have been soaping for 2 years now and most of my swirls don't do that! Steph
  13. I haven't tried that scent in candles, just soap. Bet it smells great. I like the look, too. Steph
  14. Very nice! I do wish I could smell it! Steph
  15. Very pretty! I love the soft colors. Steph
  16. I have used the WSP Cream creator. I had to add a bit more of the creator to get it as thick as I wanted, even though I followed the guidlines they posted. I am getting ready to send testers out, so I will have feed back in a few weeks. I made two variations, one with regular oils and butters, silk and hydrovance, and the other with goat milk powder and colloidal oatmeal, shea butter, avacado oil, and a few other basics. They both feel a bit sticky when first putting them on, but my skin stayed soft until the next morning with the goat milk one. Steph
  17. Wow!!! Looks like you have been doing that for a long time! I will have to admire them for a bit longer until I have the funds and time to play! Steph
