  1. Mine usually does that when it is a bit more humid and it does absorb back in. The worst batch was when I cut into some beautiful Green Tea and Rose soap and lye water came gushing out. Steph
  2. Those are gorgeous!!! I love the black raspberry vanilla. Steph
  3. I used this before in my Citrus Splash soap and it turned orange when I gelled it. Well, I grabbed it the other day to make an unscented Pink layer on my pink sugar bars, forgetting that it turned orange. Well, I didn't gel it and it is staying a nice pink. I would post a pic, but the bottom hasn't turned brown yet, so it is sort of funky looking. Just a tip in case anyone was thinking of using it. Steph
  4. Very nice! I bet they all smell great. Steph
  5. It is very nice, clean, and easy to navigate. The colors are very calming. Great job! Steph
  6. Backwoods (www.backwoodsfragrancesupply.com) will be getting in their new pumpkin scent in a few weeks. It was called Pumpkin Buttercream when we tested, but I think they are changing the name. It is very spicy and the best pumpkin spice type scent I have smelled. Steph
  7. Yikes! No clue what happened, but sorry it didn't turn out. I had one batch (a tester for BW) do that too me. I have used salt, sugar, and silk in my lye water and never had trouble with it. Was your lye good? Maybe it was just the FO. Hopefully a pro will be able to answer your questions. Steph
  8. Those are cute! I have been a bit slow, too. Hopefully with warmer weather coming, people will be a bit happier and spend their money! Steph
  9. Yikes!!! I made two batches the other day and they were really soft. My scale was messing around, so I am not sure if that had something to do with it. If you are frustrated, take a few days off and get right back on the wagon!!! Steph
  10. They both look great! I bet the chocolate mint smells great. Welcome to the addiction! Steph
  11. That is a very pretty wax. Love the red too. Steph
  12. Yeah, right now I only order from 2 companies. there are so many out there and funds are limited, so I just find some that are really good and most everyone likes and am sticking with those. of course, there are some on order from one company that I will definitely be adding when they get them in stock (Backwoods). Steph
  13. It is hard! I have started out with 8 or 10 (can't remember without checking my site, LOL), and will see what sells and add or remove from there! Good luck, Steph
  14. Great job! I don't know how you have the time to hand mill! Steph
  15. Very pretty. I wish Spring would show up here! Steph
  16. Straight Shea seems to do well for me (I have really dry cracked heels). I did try some "whipped" shea with other oils and some cocoa butter, but I think the straight shea did the best. Steph
  17. I checked mine and it seems to be okay. Thanks for posting this. Steph
