    I use sunflower as one of my main oils (replacing olive because it costs so much). Can I use sunflower to make a castille type bar? It is the high oleic sunflower oil. I would just call it Castille type soap (maybe adding some shea and castor oils). Thanks, Steph

    Both. I started out making it just for personal use, as well as giving to family. Now I am trying to make it a major part of my business. I haven't found it anywhere else around here. I do still use and make shower gel from base. I like to take it when we go away somewhere over night, that way I don't have to worry about messy soaps! Steph

    I am interested to know this, too. I have some Pumpkin Pie Soap from before Christmas that has shrunk a little (not enough for the soap to fall out, though). I haven't tried reshrinking them, I might have to! Steph

    My dh and his best friend hauled horses together for 4 months about 4 years ago. It didn't work out due to the lady they were contracting out to, but their friendship hasn't been the same since. We used to get together at least every other weekend, but now we are luck if it is 2 times a year. We are all a lot busier, but still. Just put a lot of thought into it. If you gut is telling you not to, DON"T DO IT!!! You wouldn't want to lose your best friend. Steph

    It looks good! As far as the pictures of when something goes wrong, I can't help you with those. Acceleration means that when you add the fragrance oil, it traces faster than normal. This can sometimes happen when using a water discount (which is probably something you haven't even thought of yet, LOL). Ricing is just that. When you add your FO, it looks like rice. This can usually be fixed by stick blending well. I have only ever had one batch rice on me so bad it couldn't be saved. You will learn as you go. This board is a great place for answers as well.     I make a natural Oatmeal, Milk, and Honey CP and I usually looked for that before I started making my own. Even the scented stuff smells good. Steph
