  1. Mine would be: CP soap, lotion, lip balm, body spray Steph
  2. It looks great! At least you know what acceleration is, LOL! you will be addicted now. Steph
  3. I guess that just goes to show what gel can do to colors. In your case, the gel looks great, most of my soaps that gel, I don't like because the colors fad some. The soaps look great! Steph
  4. Very pretty! Those jars are nice and the flower looks so real! Steph
  5. Beautiful! Love the purple and black swirls. Steph
  6. I just use a 2x4 label and put 2 to a label. Works out nicely for me! Steph
  7. That looks awesome! I think the colors match the scent perfectly. Steph
  8. I give my mom a big discount, because she watches my boys so much. My mil gets a good discount as well. Steph
  9. Your soaps look great and sorry you got burned. Yes, lye burns do hurt! The worst one I had was I when I slammed the mold (a slab) on the ground to get out any air bubbles and some splashed up on the inner eyebrow, closest to my nose, that hurt!!! DOn't let it discourage you and try again! Steph
  10. Very cute! I wish I had time to play with these. Steph
  11. Uline seems to have great prices and I hope to be able to order from them once I have some extra money to do so! Steph
  12. Right now I offer a discount to immediate family only, 10%, sometimes more at holiday times. I will run monthly specials through my sites and if any other family or friends want that, then they can take it. Steph
  13. Very nice! Where is that FO from? I had some from Candles and Supplies, but never tried it in CP. Can't wait to see cut pics! Steph
  14. Very nice for a beginner! Some of my swirls still don't turn out right. You won't regret making CP. They are as beautiful as your candles! Steph
  15. Wow, I wish I could soap late at night, but our house it too small right now and the kids would be able to hear every little noise I made. They look great. Yeah, the side by sides have to be done a bit thicker. I found this out by accident when my blackberry patch soap went a little too fast on me! Steph
  16. Fractionated Coconut Oil is a clear liquid, you can easily tell it from Coconut 76. Steph
  17. I think they look great too. I agree with Donna, some of them say A and some say As. Other than that, it looks very classy. Steph
  18. They look great! Pouring side by side takes a bit of practice. The Goats milk looks nice as well. Steph
  19. I made a gardeners soap with Lemon and Orange EO with some cornmeal and ground pumice (from WSP) in it. I only used 2 Tbsp/2.5 lb of oils and it is very scrubby. The EO are supposed to help cut grease, plus they should elminate any scent left on the hands from grease, gas, etc. I don't think I would put kerosene in my soap! Steph
  20. I would just tell her that it takes time and testing and lots of money, even if you start as a hobby. If she wants to make candles, she should search the internet and find that information herself. That is how most of us got started. It isn't as easy as most people think! Steph
  21. I don't know how those of you who do day care and already have young kids do it! Some days it is all I can do handle my own kids, let alone other people's! My oldest is in K this year and my 4 year old will be starting preschool this year. My baby is 2, so we have a ways to go with him yet. I think I will stick with my candles and bath and body biz! Not to mention that we live in the boonies and no person in their right mind would come back our driveway 2 times a day, LOL!!! Good luck! Steph
