Okay, I made my second batch of Cool Waters last night (my first batch was beautiful, with lots of blue swirls). I used Michelle B's Shortening and Shea recipe, which I have used 2 other times. It does move a bit fast. I used room temp oils and lye. Well, I had to slap the soap in the mold and try to get my blue in before it made soap in my pouring cup. I used full water. I cut it in the mold (like misty creek) while it was still a big soft. Well, I unmolded it this morning and it is hard as a rock, and crumbled when I tried to trim it up. Any ideas? I guess I will just have to use my other recipe for this soap. I also made some Dogwood (BCS) and it turned out fine, except for my pink swirls turning purple, but they aren't that dark, so it doesn't matter much. The cool waters is fine other than the crumbling. Steph
