Grumpy Girl
So, I'm ready to move into the big bad world of compiling my own CP recipe. If someone could help me do it, I'd be forever grateful. I'm a bit unsure of how to pair my oils... hard oils w/ soft oils and what percentages I need to keep etc. On hand I have:LardCoconut (76)Coco ButterOliveCanolaSafflowerSunflowerAlmondCasterFCCSheaPalmPalm Kernal FlakesCriscoAvocadoI was thinking of:Coconut: 25%Olive: 55.33%Palm: 10.42Shea: 5.25%Coco Butter: 3%Caster: 1%I'm looking for creamy with lots of rich lather.. but unsure of how to get it there. Any help would be much appreciated.
Bunny
Have you checked out the "how to build a soap" recipe thread in the B&B FAQ's? Might help you along there...
Grumpy Girl
Actually Bunny, I did read a post somewhere awhile back about compiling a recipe that gave excellent details between hard oils vs. soft oils and recipe variations etc. but I'll be damned if I can find it now when I need it. Bunny
Don't you laugh at me Carrie.... ROFL! I keep thinking about re-writing it to make the grammer proper, but can't bring myself to take out the "bubblage" part.
Grumpy Girl
Cool, thanks guys. I do remotely feel like a mad scientist... lol.And "bubblage" is a word... I'd leave it. Proper grammar is way overrated anyways.
Carrie
I'm not laughing at you, and GG, you're right, bubblage is a word. If spoilage can be a word, bubblage can be a word. LMAO Again. (At myself this time)
