Michdj
Hi all, I've decided to use wick pins for my pillars (such a heathen!) and I'm wondering what you use to hold the wick pin centered? I have bowtie centering tools for my jars - would they work? Or would I need to pick up the plastic ones shaped in an x? Or... is there something else you use? And where do you get them? Secrets please!
Michdj
Or... maybe they're not needed?
Pam W
the wick pins I use fit my molds and don't need anything to keep them centered.

Michdj
I'll have to call them - their web site is quite wonky. Thanks for the info though!
Scented
I had some made to fit the mold size I use. They are soldered together to form a cross.
Candybee
Look here: http://www.wickcenteringtool.com/These are what I use too. The plastic centering tool works great and the wick pins are easy to get out of the candle. Then I just push the wicking through the center hole. I do use wicking thats pretreated with a high MP wax so the wicking is stiff enough to push through the wick hole.
