*Dee*
I have been away and haven't made candles or soap in 2 years. But now that I am back I am eager to try CP soap again since all of my kids are now in school full days I wont be as scared. But wondering the best coloring for it? I used to use the pop colors but I am sure there is something new and wonderful.

Welcome Back! Missed you!!! I still use mostly natural colorants, but I do use some of NG's and they work well. Also B&B has some great bright colors. I love their Bubblegum pink

Candybee
www.nurturesoapsupplies.com carries the Rainbow micas. They are the replacements for POP micas that TKB used to sell. They also have some interesting neons. TKB Trading is still selling soap colorants too, micas, oxides. I get the oxides and some micas from them. I also use the natural colorants from www.soapmakingresource.com.
Moody Glenn
Hello! I really love using Celestial Colors (www.celestialcolors.com). They are liquid colorants (FD&C and D&C) and are specifically made to used for cp soapmaking. By mixing the colors you can create many interesting shades. Crafty1_AJ
I use a lot of iron oxides. They generally produce warm colors in muted shades. Very nice! I mix the powder into a bit of glycerin before adding to my raw soap batter.

chuck_35550
I still have pop micas on hand but prefer to use the Celestials. My only gripe is that some of them start out a different color and then turn once they are saponified but the pinks are really pink and the indigo is really sweet. I love Morrocan red clay and French green clay as colorants. HTHSteve
