primstar
I am testing a new wax and was wondering about the burn pool on this candle. I am using a CD-8. I guess this will be a silly question are all CD-8's the same. I was ordering from C&S and I am trying the wicks from B_ _ _ _ R C_ _ _K. It has been burning for 2hrs and 40 min. Guest OldGlory
Would you say that the melt pool is 1/2" deep or more? If so, I would definitely try wicking down. Is that a 60 cotton core wick? What does the mushroom look like?

To me, that looks a little too hot in the pics.
