burpl3
I'm not sure where the appropriate thread would be to post this anyway, I would like some reviews on eclamshell, I saw a post from two years ago with a not so good review, however I'm asking again to see if they've improved since, any reviews/advice would be awesome(as I can't seem to find any reviews on them) any way if this is the wrong thread to post this on I apologize but any help would be appreciated. Belinda
I've ordered from them twice getting a case each time and have had no problems with them at all. No funky smell. I've been ordered from ICS lately just because they take paypal and with e-clamshell I have to put it on a credit card and I try not to do that if I can. franu61
I order from them every time i need clamshells. Most are fine, no smell, easy enough to pull apart, no leaks. One batch I had tho, had a few that leaked. They wereall together in the shipment and each one had a rough spot on the back of one cube, that turned out to be a tiny slit that leaked like a sieve. I think there was a bit of debris in the machine that prevented the plastic from sealing in that one spot. When I figured out the rough spot meant LEAK I started putting a hunk of tape on the back of it before pour.. problem solved. Also I want to mention that when you order from them they ship ups and I saved money on shipping by having it shipped to my work address (industrial) instead of my home business address (residential). SuzyK
I haven't ordered from them in awhile but if I were to do clamshells again, I would definitely order from them. I didn't have any problems with them.
ktaggard
I use them and have had no major problems. The only thing that I don't like is that they can be a little tough to open. After you open and close them a few times, they loosen up. It is a little hassle, but for the cost savings, it is worth it. IMO.
