namaof2
I ave tried several different recipes for "sliceable" wax but its to soft to stand up or to hard to cut..HELP!! Please.
Jcandleattic
I'm not sure it can be done. IDK I've never seen it and as you said, to get it so you can cut it, it would be too soft. If you want to do that to sell by the oz or something, I would think wax chips or pellets would be a better, less messy option.
justajesuschick
Oh, my goodness, yes! The online wax world is FULL of sliceable Loaves! I make one that is really simple and it is the same waxes I use for my Melt Cups. A nice blend of either pillar or votive wax blended with container wax. It does take some playing to get the right consistency. Most consumers have crinkle cutters (you likely know this) and keep the Loaf in the polypro bag (how I package and send) and carve off what they need for melting or blending. Mine look like this. They are 15-16 ounces: Most are much more elaborate as shown in this link (scroll down to "Slice some scent):http://www.candlesbyvictoria.com/melts?page=2 I could have given you dozens of links!
