vberkesch
Hi all, I purchased some Dead Sea salts by mistake. What can I make with these? From my searching they seem to be difficult in bath salts as they cause them to become liquid & slushy. Do they work in bath bombs? Or will they make the bombs attract moisture also?Thank you much, Vanessa
Candybee
I actually use them in my CP soap salt bars. But I mix them with other sea salts. I'm sure you could do this with bath salts. Just use a % of dead sea salts and mix with other salts.
kandlekrazy
You can also use a small % mixed with other salts in scrubs
chuck_35550
I use Dead Sea Salts in my blend but to avoid clumping, use either Dendritic Salt or Natrasorb (tapioca powder) mixed in with the fragrance or essential oil. San Francisco Salt Works has some good recipes. I like about equal mix of Dead Sea, Fine Sea, Pacifica for my blend with the Dendritic added. Scented
Oh I would experiment around. For instance, I'm going 1:1 on the salts in my bombs now. So the max I go is 1 cup of each. If I want to put some additional salts in like the Himalyan Pink then I'll cut back from one or both salts and equal amount. I've had successes with this soooooo ... What's your recipe call for on salts? If you want you can cut the salt to 1/2 the amount and fill the other half with the dead.
