kdes7
What do you guys do with old tester glass jars? Do you just toss them? I have a few boxes of tester jars I've used. Just curious...

chuck_35550
I stack em up in the toaster oven on my work bench and then dump the melted wax out and then put them in a sink of very hot water with Dawn dish washing liquid for a soak. It would be easier if I did that about once a month but instead it builds up to several cases before they're cleaned. NEVER THROW ANYTHING AWAY.........EVER!!!!! You always wind up finding a use for stuff that stacks up in the lab. HTH Steve
pcbrook
Yep, same here! Just keep using them for more testing, testing, testing!!!!!!
joym
I also clean and reuse mine, over & over. You can also fill them with potpourri, scented aroma beads, etc. (something that doesn't get burned or melted).
ChrisR
I'll reuse a tester about 6 or 7 times then wash and recycle the glass. I can't guarantee the integrity of the glass to keep testing it indefinitely and honestly don't want any exploding candle jars!
Jcandleattic
I do the same as ChrisR. I only reuse them for tests, and only about 5-6 times. Never more than 8 for sure.
